Sunrise of Pinehurst

My loved one has received excellent care. When he first arrived he needed the assistance of three people to transfer him from the bed to the wheelchair and within six months, he was walking with a walker and getting himself independently to the dining room His progress has been remarkable and that is because of their care. I would absolutely recommend this community to other families. During COVID, it has been hard but they hard gone over and above to protect the residents and staff. They have really exceeded our expectations.

They have a lot caring and good that work there. The nursing staff were always open to talking to me and answering my questions. I was there everyday to see my wife. The food was good and they were accommodating to our dietary needs. The building was easy to get around and navigate.

Sunrise has a lot of caring staff there and the staff really seemed to like my wife and take good care of her. The staff were always friendly to me and I was there often. The nursing staff were always willing to answer my questions and address any concerns that I had . I chose the community because of its location, cost, and their ability to provide the level of care that my wife needed.

I liked Sunrise right away and I liked the close proximity to my house. I liked that he could get the care he needed when he needed it. The staff loved him and were really good with him. The staff were caring and attentive. The food was pretty good.

Very nice facility. The staff was very visible and engaged with the residents. The landscaping was mature with lots of trees which is very important to my mother. Having a Kaiser Dr. visiting is a plus for us.

We moved my Mom into the memory area at Sunrise Pinehurst about 8 months ago. I have to share, this place exceeded our expectations. Everyone, from the caregivers, management, directors and nursing staff are incredible. This is a professionally run place, it shows! I stop in about every few days, my mom is clean, happy, always doing some activity - in fact, shes dramatically improved in all areas since moving in. I cannot say enough good things about this place and the folks working there. They are good at what they do, and they enjoy it - thus, our mother benefits. Thank you, Sunrise!

Its now been 8 months since we moved my mother into Sunrise at Pinehurst, memory care area. Everyone, from the caregivers, management, nursing staff etc., is wonderful. Kind, caring, responsible, personable - and downright do a good job are just a few words to describe this team. Always clean and smells great. Our mother is THRIVING and HAPPY here! My parents both lived a Sunrise for number of year. The room were dirt and poorly cleaned. The food at first was good but decreased in both amount and quality. The nursing care is poor and coordination with outside care givers and family are poor. The care staff are good but very understaffed. The state audited the facility and agreed with the lack of care from nursing and staff. See state for audit.

This place feels like a nursing home the second you walk in. The staff was really nice and they had everything that my Mom would’ve needed activities wise (like arts and crafts), but it just didn’t feel like home. The person that took us on the tour was knowledgeable about the facility and the type of care that Mom would’ve needed, and they were able to answer all of our questions. Ultimately, we went with a different community.

Incredibly nice staff but not crazy about the views.

I had recently taken a tour of this community for my mother and I have no complaints of how things had went for us. The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them in detail. I liked the open floor plan and the fact it was east to navigate through the building. It was just not the right location for us in the end decision but I would recommend it to anyone.

Both of my parents have recently made the move into this community and things are going okay but there is room for improvement. The meals they have been provided have been mediocre and the staff have been trying to encourage them to get more involved in the activities throughout the week. I do think they need better organization in the medical and nursing department and how they run things.

Beautiful facility! They don't seem to have enough staff to carry out what is promised. I would stay away from this facility until they fix their lack of staff therefore very poor services. Very expensive for the services received.

My tour of Sunrise went very well, we really liked them. They were our first choice and their goal time for response is 5 to 10 mins and. I really liked their friendliness and attention to detail. They were very good at following up after the tour as well.

Lovely! Dropped in and was greeted with bustling activity; met with [Removed] (so nice); took tour. Saw 1- and 2- bedroom apartments (nice, windows to hallway makes it look like little cottages or row houses). Mini fridge at floor level is a problem. But base room rate is SO expensive for a couple, without added nursing/assistance fees. 10-min drive

I have really enjoyed the staff at this community they have been absolutely wonderful to work with. They have been great with making sure they stay in contact with me about my dad and truly care about his well being. They have a comfortable and safe living environment with lots of positive energy. I am very pleased with our experience this far.

Wow this community definitely seemed like a family. [Removed] is very informative and was a great listener. When my sister-in-law is ready this would be a great place for her.

I was very impressed when I toured this community, they had a lot of luxury amenities available to the residents and a beautiful complex. The administration also did a great job at explaining all of the different packages they had available to there residents as well the personal one on one planning they do. I just could not afford this place they where very expensive.

Sunrise at Pinehurst was definitely the right place for my mom. She has settled in well and even likes to participate in the variety of activities offered. The community is well maintained inside and out. The registration process went very smoothly as the entire staff is great and helpful. I would recommend this community as I have felt comfortable with the way the staff has kept me updated with my mothers care.

We are very satisfied with Sunrise. My loved ones like the food we don't have any complaints about the food. It's clean, and the staff is good, and they are good with communication. The only reason we would give them less than a five is, the size of the rooms. Most of the rooms in the area seemed to be small, but still we would liked to have seen them a little bigger.
