All I know from her is that it was too expensive, too many rules, the food was terrible. She said they never had enough and it was paltry options . Sad options either the $ they had spent to be there. Overall. She liked the staff but not the institution itself

Open visiting hours is great. My mom feels very taken care of. The property is a little outdated. They nickel and dime you a lot. Don't like being charged by the day. The rate is increasing for 2024, don't like that. They should shower residents more than once a week

Recently moved my mom in and it was complete chaos. No one really helping us because the health department was in checking everything so we got pushed to the wayside. My mother has never been showered and she has been there almost 2 weeks. I had to come and shower her because they did not have her on the schedule. I also know that my mother cannot have certain things to eat and I specified that and they still gave it to her anyway. She also fell because she could not find her walker and they moved her commode into the bathroom without my permission, not happy with how things are turning out, possibly thinking of other facilities.

Our experience was very good with Sunrise. The food was fabulous. The staff were very caring. The communication with the family was very good. There were three meals a day and the resident's had choices to choose from.

I had a very positive experience touring with Sunrise of Blue Bell. For respite, they were requiring a 4 week stay and my friend only needed 2 weeks. When it comes time and I cannot care for him any longer, Sunrise will definitely be one of my top choices. The staff were all very professional.

I toured this community and it was ok. The staff seemed just ok and cleanliness wasn't great.

What sticks out about Sunrise of Blue Bell is everyone is friendly and the facility is clean, there are also always staff available.

It is a nice place, unfortunately they weren't able to provide the level of care my mother needed. Everyone was very friendly especially the staff. They were experiencing some staff shortage which seems to be common in many places these days. But other than noted concern was a nice place.

I really liked Sunrise of Blue Bell. It is a facility that has both assisted living and a memory care unit. The memory care unit was upstairs meaning you had to take an elevator. At the time my mom was not fully ready for memory care, so I know she would have just tried to get into the elevator and go downstairs to the assisted living side.
They did not respond well to the call button. There were several times my loved one had to go to the bathroom and they did not make it in time. She got up early and they would come change her and then they wouldn't take her to breakfast for another 2-3 hours. I think that they were short staffed which had a lot to do with it, but it still had an impact on her. The staff were willing to listen to the issues that we had and they tried to make adjustments.

Our family was able to tour Sunrise of Blue Bell and we really wanted our loved one here. Right when you walk through the front doors it is very bright and gives off a friendly atmosphere.
I would tell others that if you can't keep your loved one at home then this would be a good place to take your loved one. [name removed] was great at helping my loved one make calls, otherwise the staff was intermittent at helping my loved one make calls to me.

Our loved one is a very picky eater so they are not to crazy about the food, however we had eaten a couple meals there and we think the food is just fine. The activities are getting better and better and our loved one is really starting to participate which is great. We also think the value for cost is good.

We chose Sunrise of Blue Bell because they needed respite care since their care taker was out of town. The biggest issue they had was with the food is she says there is not a lot variety on the menu to choose from. It is hard because we were not able to go inside the facility due to quarantine.

The Sunrise is a good place. The room is good for our loved one. They are allowing brief visits with our loved one as well.
