Best Bang for your Buck

The care is good. It is really small and most of the residents there are not really outgoing mobility or active. My loved one is very social and that is one thing that is lacking the residents are not very social. This community is very reasonably priced and the staff are outgoing and helpful. They are also currently updating each room as they are able to, do not just drive by and look go in and check it out

Their administration is top notch!

We have not been able to eat a meal there ourselves yet but from what we have seen they look pretty good and have a nice variety. Due to the covid restrictions the activities are still pretty limited, but we do think the value for cost is very good. We definitely would recommend this community to others.

I have a friend whose mom is at this facility. I must say they are so friendly there. The residents seem very happy, and i really liked how the staff interacts with the residents. Very clean, and there isnt that aweful nursing home Smell. Its a fresh smell. I would recommend this place to anyone. Shame on that bad review that someone else put. You have no idea.. Must be a disgruntled ex employee..

They have poor management for the office people. Poor quality care given to the residents. I would never put my parents here or suggest it. The staff leave the residents in dirty clothes with food all over from meals and dont care. The only good thing about this place is the activies and the food looks okay to eat.

Great Community

They’re the best people. The staff knows how to deal with behavioral issues. I was talking to a friend and he was saying this is the best place we’ve put my mom! The people are just so sweet. I can’t say enough good about them. My loved one had really rallied!

A Place for Mom has scored Sugarmill Manor Assisted Living 3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
