My loved one was previously a resident at StoryPoint Troy. She was at their highest acuity. Because I asked for assistance twice to get her out of my vehicle, they increased her fees beyond their highest acuity. My loved one said that the food was okay, but nothing special. Overall, we just did not believe that the value was there. The nurses and aides were great.

Per guidelines, we cannot complete any transfers outside of a two-person or Hoyer lift, as this could put safety in jeopardy. We chose StoryPoint troy because of the cleanliness, bright and welcoming environment and the staff is very friendly and caring. I would tell others just visit them very often, take them out to eat to their favorite restaurant, whenever they want to go, because the quality of the food, or at least the choices seemed to decline. Make sure any additional care you pay for is being done.

We chose StoryPoint Troy because it was the only facility that we looked at that had a memory unit that didn't look like a nursing home or institutionalized. It was definitely the best one I have looked at. They have activities for them to do and try to keep them busy and involved in things . I feel like none of them are a 10 out of 10 but that's just our healthcare system. overall it was a very positive experience. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

when I first walked into StoryPoint I was shocked for there was no odor - it smelt so clean - every day the building smells so clean and the staff is great is you ask a question and do not know the answer, they will find the answer for you

The StoryPoint facilities are fabulous, but the real standout part of living here is the people who work here. They are sincerely the friendliest group of people we've ever interacted with. Moving here was a Godsend for my wife and me.

This facility is a very nice place. Communication with the family is very good. The staff are all very friendly, always smiling, and helpful. Housekeeping is once a week and dad is happy with it. Everything seems pretty organized and they know what they're doing. I would absolutely recommend this facility to family and friends.
