There are some staff members that go out of their way to help and assist my mother then there are a few that act as if it a bother to help. I am being very honest but for the most part they keep the residents safe and active.

A place for Mom came through again for a second time. They provided a good list of possibilities for my mother in law to move into and we ultimately chose Springfield Crossings. Everything has been really good. The care, food, staff and facilities are all great, and are a good value. The very few times we've had a hiccup, they were on it immediately and took care of things. Highly Recommend.

What we like the most about the Springfield Crossings community is that it is close to family to check on him. Since it was not close our home. However, they could improve on their responsiveness to our loved ones needs the few times he needed assistance. We would recommend this community for respite care. They were the only facility to have a minimum of 14 days.

My mother has been living in this community for several years. I have been overall very pleased with the community. I am especially glad about the recent changes. They just had a reopening of the dining room, and it was a really nice event. The only con is that the prices went up slightly this past month, but they are still in line with other communities. Very pleased with the administrative and nursing care. I would highly recommend this community!

So far we've been very happy with Springfield crossings assisted living. My mother-in-law needs assistance to stand up and they definitely check on her often as they promised they would. She likes the staff and says they are very nice to her. There are tons of activities that they offer each day. She has also commented that she feels that they clean her room well, and over all the food is pretty good.

I got the opportunity to witness first hand, the administrator work with several families and each encounter was not only professional - it was warm and compassionate. The fact that they really cared about the patient was evident and left me totally impressed.

My brother [name removed] has mobility issues due to Parkinson's disease. We moved him into Springfield Crossings assisted living on [date removed]. He was just getting used to his new surroundings when he fell on [date removed] and fractured his pubis bone. He was hospitalized and spent June and July at Springfield Rehab receiving PT. On [date removed], [name removed] was stronger and returned to assisted living, but on [date removed] he fell again and broke his hip. He had surgery and spent 3 more months back in rehab. He exhausted his 100 days of Medicare-covered PT. We knew we needed to move [name removed]into long-term care to get the extra help, so he is now living at [removed].

The things they are putting their residents through at this time is horrible. My father hasn’t been there too long and is currently adjusting and today he had to sit in an overcrowded dining room while the facility has a virus going around (not sure if it’s covid or not). I would NOT recommend this place. The staff look so tired and exhausted that i offered to buy one person lunch because i honestly feel bad for them. Why continue to take in new comers while renovating???? Some people are adjusting to a new home and you’re putting them through more drastic changes

I toured with Springfield Crossings and I found the room sizes to be too small. That is the reason we did not go with this facility.
The staff at Springfield Crossings has just been amazing, they have really gone above and beyond to make sure our loved one is feeling comfortable. The sales team is amazing and you can tell all the staff from top to bottom really love working together - they not only are so friendly with our loved one but to our family as well. They have a lot of activities going on every single day, you can see them on the public schedule. We really like the look of the community and the price was one of the lowest prices compared to other communities we had toured. So we think the value is great.

I think you have to stay on top of things, note issues, and continue to follow up so things don't fall through the cracks. But I think that would be no different anywhere else. The staff have been good. The facility itself is fine. From my observations, I don't' see a lot of the activities to be interactive. They seem to be more along the lines of putting a movie on, or showing a recorded mass on Sundays, things like that.

The community is well kept and clean and the staff are friendly. They have recently made changes within their nursing staff so the communication with the RN's is lacking. We cannot tell you who is in charge because all of the communication is over text currently. However I will say over text they respond in a timely manner. The Med-techs are fantastic and are very informative. There could be a little more activity over the weekend, it is lacking a little bit.

We had a really nice tour experience with Springfield Crossings. Unfortunately price was a major factor in our decision and it was just too expensive.
This community was very good and it was a great tour. I would have put my loved one at this community if we were able to be accepted.

A Place for Mom has scored Springfield Crossings 8.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
