Sparks Loving Care Home

The facility is kept clean, and the smaller number of people per unit makes the facility more comfortable for my mother. The staff are very accommodating, friendly and patient. The room sizes are about the size of a normal bedroom in a standard house. They offer private rooms as well as group rooms, but most rooms are private. They also have a very good sized tv sitting room and they help replenish things like toothpaste. The facility is also in a very nice neighborhood.

The caregivers are thoughtful and kind. They interact well with the residents and take very good care of them. They seem to be well trained for the types of patients they're taking care of. Two are live-in. There are two caregivers during the day and one at night and the ones who live there can jump in and help should they be needed. There are cameras so they can be checked on anytime. The facility is quite old and could be a little cleaner but with 15 residents the emphasis seems to be focused on the actual people instead of appearances which I'm good with. I've been told that [name removed] is building a brand new facility that will have a more centralized residential area and an indoor walking track ringing the living and common areas. Right now on good days they take residents outside to walk an oval driveway. There are activities for the residents and 'quiet time' after lunch. There is a tv room with comfortable recliners that are new. They don't want the patients laying around all day sleeping but instead try to keep them up and engaged. Incontinence supplies are provided. I'm so much happier that my Sweetheart has moved here because it is so much better for him than the previous residence he was in.

I would tell others that basically everything is included in the price per month. They will take care of the resident to the end of stage of life. It feels more homey. The food is fresh, and meals are home cooked.

I would tell others that this place is like family. My mom truly feels at home here and we cannot ask for more than that. They take the best care of her. They have navigated covid restrictions amazingly and are keeping their residents safe. I would highly recommend.

It is a great place. The owner is very hands on and cares deeply about the residents. I was so glad to find this community. It is a beautiful setting. The community is sat on a couple of acres, and it is a home setting. Some of the residents will have the option to walk outside and enjoy nature.

I had heard that Sparks Assisted Living was the very best place for your elderly loved one. I visited the lovely home and took the tour and was sold, Being the person responsible for my 92 year old aunt I wanted her in the best possible place, Sparks Assisted Living from day one has definitely met her needs and instead of vegetating, she is thriving. She has gone from not hardly touching her food to eating 100 percent of each and every meal. They use only fresh foods, nothing canned or frozen. We did not think she could walk any longer and now Is using her walker to get around during the day, Our family could not ask for a better place for her to live.

My husband has been at Sparks Assisted Living for eight months. [Name removed] and the staff are very caring and attentive. My husband can't communicate well and it is a pleasure to see how well they interact with him. They go out of their way to make sure he is well taken care of and safe and they are very responsive to any concerns I may have. It is obvious that [name removed] and the staff genuinely care for the residents. Sparks is a small facility with a family atmosphere and when I visit I feel like I am with family. The food is very good too. It was an extremely difficult decision to move my husband away from home but I feel very fortunate to have found Sparks. I highly recommend it.

I can not say enough good things about this community. The caregivers here treat my loved one like a queen. They made the transition easier for the family. The food is good and healthy. The home is clean. They keep her active. One caregiver paints their nails and does their hair between appointments. There is a waiting list , however I would recommend this care home.

This is a nice care home, and when my mother recovers she will be returning. I do feel comfortable with her move to this care home. They have a very good staff here. The owner of this care home is great. He is very thorough, and great with his communication. She hasn't had any problems with the cleanliness, they do a good job with that. This is a good care home,and I would recommend it.
