My 94 year old Mom has been in the Remington home for over a year now and she is VERY WELL cared for by [names removed] and all of the wonderful staff! [Names removed] gave me their personal cell phone numbers and insisted that I call them personally if I had any problems. I have NEVER had to call them. I would not have my Mom at anywhere else. DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY WITH YOUR LOVED ONES! I trusted [name removed] and her husband [name removed] to care for my parents. After only five days of being here my father ended up in the hospital because they put coke, and coffee in his feeding tube which had an effect. He sat in vomit and blood for over an hour. Only because I had a video camera installed in the room was I able to catch their care taker [name removed] assault my mom. I notified the owners and they did nothing. I had to file a police report and i have photos of the bruise it left on my mothers arm. The ownera do not accept feedback, they are only in it for the money and there is no quality care provided. You also may want to ensure that the individuals that are caring for your family members know what they are doing. I have filed a report with the state and pray no other elderly person has to be subjected to what my family has been through. Even the house doctor shared this is more like a baby sitter place no quality care. Not at all what they advertise. The owners will tell you what they told me that the low raters are just difference of opinion. That is a lie. My father could of aspirated and no one was there to monitor him and the ownera lied and said he vomitted a little. The camera and three fully soaked items was evidence of the truth. I would never trust these individuals and I feel so guilty for subjecting my parents to that!

We visited two of the homes. They are clean and well-lit. There are a number of security features that are valuable to have, such as auditory and strobe alarms in each bedroom, and camera monitors in the central areas of the homes. Our mother has mobility problems and memory loss, so knowing that someone can see a problem if staff are busy, is reassuring.

They have done a very good job so far. We don't have any major complaints. We are pretty happy with them, I would give them a four at this point.

Received email from Al and Julia on 2-6. Private rates $3700/semi private $3300. Met with Al at the Remington house. They own a 2nd house on Appelician Way. 6 residents in each house. Currently full at both locations; $3,700 for private room. One live-in caregiver and 1 each 12 hours. Very clean and quiet. Kinda small but do-able. Not much going on. Three people watching TV in living room; two cute house dogs!
