My Mom lived in this place for over 2 years. She has Alzheimer's but was in fairly early stage. The couple that owns this business lied about everything when we signed the lease, including the fact that they aren't certified for memory care. They said there were activities every day and there was absolutely 0 activities. I visited about 5 times a week so I saw plenty. They let them lay in bed all day except for meals that were very unbalanced. The major problem is they could never administer the medication properly or train anyone to do it properly. There is one caretaker and there was a new one from out of state at least once a month. They either quit or were fired for telling me things. When I continued to complain about the medication being off they banned me from coming there. I would pick my Mom up and take her to my house as much as I could. After about 18 months she was the only tenant. One day they called my sister and said she was choking on her medication at lunch so they crushed it up and gave it to her. Her tongue was swollen and she couldn't talk. They waited 5 hours to render aid and we insisted they call an ambulance. She almost died. She was in the hospital and than rehab for over 2 months. We paid her rent the entire time and they wouldn't let me come in and get any clothes or shoes for her. When she recovered we were afraid to take her back there and when we told them, the lease was already up and it was the 2nd day of the month. They said we owed them another months rent for not giving them 30 days notice. We didn't have it because we spent the money putting her in a new place. They kept all her belongs, tons of jewelry, all her clothes, collections, tv, bed, misc furniture and all family photos. They put it in storage and wouldn't tell us where. Eventually they sold it all. Everything she owned was with her and we had to buy her all new clothes. Everything else was not replaceable. Everything they say is a lie. Please don't put your loved one there, I beg you!

I would recommend this place to my worst enemy if I wanted them to suffer. Management completely misrepresented themselves and, being new to this kind of search, we believed them. After my relative moved in, they reversed their promises and imposed unlawful limitations on the quiet, well-behaved service dog, including asking to have it permanently removed. The loving attitude greeting us before move-in was replaced after move-in by antagonism, suspicion and fear. The house is old and kept clean, but there is only one bathroom for six or more residents, and the fixtures are poorly maintained. Meals are mostly foreign food, highly spiced, cooked in advance off-site and often served cold. After promising to take over complex medications, my relative was asked to sign a paper absolving management of any involvement with medications and the caregiver was prohibited from assisting with said meds. Despite promises of round-the-clock care, the caregiver goes "off the clock" at 8 pm and though someone is present overnight, they are not allowed to assist residents. This so-called "assisted living" facility is anything but.

I likes that it's small and allows for more intimate care, and it more resembles a house than just a regular building.

It hasn't been very long but we are very happy with them so far. It's clean and the staff is friendly. They were the most reasonably priced place we saw. They are attentive and responsive, and do fun things with the residents. The food is good, we haven't had any complaints. We had narrowed it down to two choices that were pretty comparable in quality, and we chose them because of the price and location.

We really liked it. We liked Maria a lot. They were friendly, and kind, and tried to be helpful. It seemed like there was a high turnover of residents, but maybe that is the way it is in these places. They all seemed kind of expensive but this was pretty reasonable of all the ones we looked at.
