Scottsdale Village Square, A Pacifica Senior Living Community

The staff members are very very good, especially the girl [name removed] who helped us out with the admissions- she has been great to work with and we can reach out to her for anything if we have any questions or concerns. Also our loved ones caregivers are good. The meals however really need improvement, our loved one pays for three meals a day and she maybe goes down for one meal. It is a nice community but the quality of the meals need to be better.

They are making an effort to improve activities, and ask for resident input on the activities they offer. One of the things I really like about the facility is the green space. The greatest feature however, is that when my mother needs to move Into the memory care section, the set-up is the same one-bedroom floor plan that she has in assisted living. The continuity is important and has a more caring feel than the hospital aesthetic you may see in other places.

I have nothing but great things to say about Scottsdale Village Square. The staff go out of their way to make the transition of a loved one to assisted living

We all in the [name removed] family wanted to drop you a note to say Thank You so much for all the care that you provided to our parents over these last almost-3-years. As many of you probably know, our parents loved their independence in AZ and we tried mightily to honor their wishes. In the past almost-3-years, that had become increasingly more difficult with the aging process. They were persuaded to move to Scottsdale Village Square in September 2017, where they made many friends among all the SVS staff, the poker squad and their neighbors. Still, we persisted in asking them to move closer to family, but again – their wishes were honored. With the passing of [name removed], however, it became less and less feasible for [name removed] to remain in Scottsdale. With both [name removed] and his wife being nurses, plus 2 of [name removed]'s grand-daughter's residing in the area, *plus* a great-grand-child on the way (plus 4 dogs between them all!), the decision was made to relocate [name removed] to Omaha, NE to be closer to family. We all thank you for the tremendous care you provided to our parents during their time at SVS....!

Thank you [name removed]! For the SVS staff hard work on taking care of all residents at this time as well as keeping all the insurers informed, we really appreciate it! You have been an awesome example for all of our facilities on how to handle this difficult time. We appreciate you!

[Name removed] was one of the most delightful people I have ever dealt with. Her enthusiastic and helpful attitude made choosing SVS a clear and easy choice. I will miss her.

My mother has lived at Scottsdale Village Square since [date removed], and they have provided a safe and loving home for her. Although she continues to decline in her physical and mental abilities at age 97, she has enjoyed wonderful activities that appeal to her and enriched her life. We could never have provided all the support - in so many ways - she is receiving there if she were living at her own home or ours. I researched many options before deciding on SVS, and have found it to be a great value for the services and support she receives. During the corona virus crisis, they really stepped up to the daunting task of strictly following all recommended guidelines, and have been transparent in communicating the status of the facility with residents and loved ones. We are forever grateful.

My wife was in memory care and anytime I requested something from the caregivers they were always willing to assist my wife. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars was because no one advised her of daily activities so she was left on her own to just continually walk all day.

I couldn't be happier with the care given to my Dad at Scottsdale Village Square Assisted Living! I am always notified if there are concerns and they treat him like family. It is a wonderful environment with an incredible staff. I live in Florida so it gives me great peace of mind to know that he safe and given the attention he deserves. [name removed]

I have been so grateful and appreciative of the loving care my brother is receiving here at Scottsdale Village. It has been a stressful time with this Covid-19, and the caregivers have gone above and beyond in overseeing the well being of the residents. Staff is extremely caring and helpful. They are constantly looking to keep my wife comfortable in these tough times. They let me “FaceTime” with her often, and are always looking after her safety.

Everything was EXCELLENT!!! The staff was very helpful, friendly, gentle, and AWESOME!

Even though residents are asked to "order" their menu preferences what you get is not always what was ordered. I cannot complain about any of the staff. They were all wonderful to me. Sometimes drugs are slow coming in, especially in middle of night.

All the workers, everyone smiling very pleasent, very friendly. It made a tough situation much nicer for my mom. [name removed] helped me get all my ducks in a row before taking my mom home. Helped w/ in home care.

I would like to commend your staff for their excellent care. Having been a former Arizona State long term care surveyor, I have spent a great deal of time traveling to and inspecting facilities and records for LTC facilities around Arizona. Your team were not only kind and respectful to my mother, they treated her with the same care and respect typically reserved for members of ones own families.
