Regency Residence by Sky Active Living

We never know what is going on. We ask for a paper with the stages or phases and they never get back to us. Only certain people are able to go out or have guests. We don’t do that or want to until it is safe. We don’t understand why cutting back on food is helpful to this virus. There are no activities. The biggest problem is we lost our transportation, even when our doctors opened up. Things are very unorganized. I am speaking for many, many people. The cleaning staff is very nice and helpful. The new sales person is wonderful. The woman who does Maintanance is a gem. The activities director is kind but unable to do much. We don’t understand why management doesn’t let him use his budget on us.

The staff continues to do a great job regardless of the difficulty in this “crisis”. My only complaint is the confusion in printed status updates, which leave me not knowing which “stage” of recovery we are actually in on any given day. Will mail be delivered or must I pick it up? Is limited dining room use allowed or must I dine alone in my apartment? May I leave the facility or am I still in isolation? I’m never quite sure because of “too many” updates.

Been here since June 2020. Not long, but happy. Difficult times in the era of coronavirus, but they are taking good care of us. My unit overlooks the pool - beautiful. Also reasonable prices compared to other places. Great screened-in lanai. Too warm in July to use it much, but come fall, you can find me there. Recommended.

My mom really likes living there. She loves her apartment which is on the first floor with a private lenai overlooking the putting greens. There are walking paths, a beautiful pool, and a pond. There is a salon. a library, and a game room in the building. She loves the meals there. There is always fresh fruit, pastries, and coffee, and juice available all day. There is a lunch group that goes out to different restaurants every Wednesday, and a bus that takes the residents to shopping areas and the mall twice a day. I visited eight different communities and many felt depressing, but this community is pretty, active ,vibrant., and fun. The residents are really nice people and the staff work very hard. We are very happy there.

I've been here for over 2 years and love it. You can do anything or nothing - it's your choice. Going out to lunch with a group of friends, and having social times at the residence never leaves you bored or alone!

I appreciate my home at Regency Residence because we have helpful staff that is open to our complaints and suggestions and try to remedy any problems that might arise. Our apartment is comfortable with a lot of closet space and a kitchen if we desire to fix a meal or snack. Our meals are good and we always have choices in the food we can order for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They have great food selections daily. Activities are always great and fun. Staff is very thoughtful and caring. Mgmt is very very caring and obliging to all our needs.

THE REGENCY RESIDENCE IS A GREAT PLACE FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY. I BELIEVE "[community removed]" should be removed from your list. everything about it is antiquate to take care of the residents' needs. The food is cold all the time, attitudes are not priority there and I believe they need an Audit of how it is run financially. So, that said, I am very happy where I am. Moved here with a fine Lady who became my Friend while at [community removed]. We live in adjoining apartments. We are like Sisters. Lost mine 3 years ago. There no safety for seniors, elevator is always broken. They have maintenance staff try to repair it instead of licensed elevator service. They make excuse elevator is 30 years old mean while residents cant leave there apartments at all if on 2nd or 3rd floor for weeks at times because elevator not working. Fire department having to come to carry resident up and down stairs if they have md appointments like they dont have other things to attend to because this facility feels they dont need to do the right thing and repair correctly if cant get parts because its 30 years old as they claim then replace it. Yes its independent but it's also seniors and its unacceptable to have this happening constantly. Thank you for at least bringing there meals to them seeing they pay alot to live there that's the least you could do.

Living here is like living in a Classy Hotel. Plenty of TLC. When Management steps in to help when shorthanded, you know they have your best interest at heart.

I had a very nice tour of this community. It is a good community with friendly people. From what I saw the community was nice, and clean. The staff was kind, and helpful. My questions were answered, and the experience was a good one overall.

My dad is adjusting well at the Regency Residence which is independent living only. The location is one of the reason for our decision as it is close to my mother who is in skilled care. The facility is lovely and the staff is friendly, patient and helpful. My dad usually has breakfast at home and he likes to go to dining room for lunch and dinner, he says the food is great and that he is getting fat. There are plenty of activities for the residents also with a shuttle and field trips for those who want to go. I would definitely recommend the Regency to family and friends.

I toured this community for my father, and his needs. Everything went well, and I enjoyed my tour overall. Everyone was very kind.

The food, the staff and community is excellent! I chose this community because I am disabled and it was becoming harder to get around. My life has completely turned around since moving here.

Helping my dear friend find a safe place was paramount in our decision process when searching for a new home. Regency Residence is that and so much more. The facility is lovely and the staff is friendly, patient and extremely helpful. My friend is thrilled with her new home and many new friends. I would highly recommend this facility.

So far it has been a great for my friend with this community. He hasn't moved in yet, due to packing delays. This is a good community, everything is very nice and clean. They are allowing him to bring his small dog with him, which was a big plus for him. The staff have been friendly and kind. I know he is going to be safe and in good hands here. It is a perfect place for my friend and his needs.

Regency is a nice facility and it is always clean and seems to be well run and maintained. The staff is professional and friendly. There are plenty of activities for the residents and the food is also pretty good.

I am happy with it so far, it hasn't been that long yet, but I have no complaints. There are plenty of activities and entertainment. The food is good, I like the food. That's one reason I chose them, and they had a good price, and I really liked the location. The other residents seem pretty friendly. I went to about a half a dozen places, and this was the best. So far I don't have any complaints at all here.
