My grandma is doing very well at Reflections. I am not able to speak about the food but the menu did have some good choices on it. She does participate in some of the activities they offer. The staff is very nice and I am extremely happy with them. I would recommend this community.

My mother in law felt that the residents were not friendly and not enough activities were offered. She also did not like the type and variety of food choices. Otherwise she was in good health when she came home and we were appreciative that she was in a safe place while we were gone

March 7, 2016Thank you for review and comments. We were disappointed to learn that your mother in law did not have a better experience with us. Large facility, 2 levels, with Assisted living on 2nd floor. Elevators available, but my concern is with my Father using stairs instead. Only Studios, small, medium, and Large available, which may not be comfortable with my Fathers comfort level he is use to with separate room/area for sleeping. No sinks in kitchenette area, as the facility would rather have the residents use the Dining Area and socialize. I believe in this philosophy, however, considering my Fathers living experiences, this may not work to his comfort level. The facility is large, lots of room internal and external, and opportunities for more outside activity than the other facilities I visited which is a plus for residents that desire that option. Lastly, I really like the idea that Reflections works with their sister facility Carriage Court for internal transfers should the level of care required for increased memory of care issues increases.

They've done an excellent job so far at Reflections Retirement Community. The staff here are friendly and professional, and they've really gone out of their way to help my loved one get settled in, even going so far as helping her get her furniture moved from her old place. It's really been a great experience overall, I have no complaints.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a very nice looking place! The facility itself was clean and well kept. I liked that it was located far enough from the city that you can see the countryside, the views were very nice.

My mother moved into Reflections almost a year ago. We were able to negotiate lunch and dinner with the monthly rent. We were given permission to paint her unit, and make a few changes to make it more of a home. Everything was great. Since then, they have experienced a turn over of staff. The activities listed, are usually for show. The upkeep of the property has gone down hill, and it's hard to get repairs done. Furnace/air conditioning filters are not changed, and some of units need replaced. The food service has good, then budget cuts were made, and it has gone down hill some. Food choices are very limited. In the beginning, they would bring your meal to your room if needed, now they charge $5 for each delivery. They do have outings, will take the residents to the grocery store, and with 2 week notice take them to the doctor, which is helpful. Unfortunately, they gave notice of a 7% rent increase, which is causing many of the residents to look else where to live due to the changes taking place.

We just moved my in-laws into Reflections this past week. They love Reflections. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Their apartment is wonderful and they were able to keep their dog. They love the food and the neighbors. This is the perfect place for our parents and once they are settled in they will be so happy about the move. Thanks to Kim who was wonderful to work with.

A Place for Mom has scored Reflections Retirement Community 8.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
