Our families experience: Overall a nice community with room for improvements. Would recommend.

The rooms are cleaned once a week. Housekeepers don't pay attention to details, like bathrooms behind toilet and reporting stains from residents accidents) The facility has been updated with new carpet, paint I. Halls and new dining room and sitting room furniture. 3. The staff is friendly. Front desk staff are the BEST! Lots of change in staff over the time we have been there. They have a new managing company that will begin July 1st, the name will change again. They sound promising but we shall see. The current director listens and will get things done, the just hired an RN for the residents Quality of care. Good with some med aides and the bath aides. My mother in law is there now and won't tell them she is having problems mainly because she forgets. They could do better since they know her. The dining room is nice for the residents to sit together or alone if they want to. The food looks good but the residents say it needs more flavor. They had said you could order off a menu but that has not happened. Activities are good. They have a new activity director that is very involved. They have plans for new changes and added activities. Overall, my mother in law likes it there. She had a slight bigger apartment but is a loner. She does go down to eat. For the [fee removed] we pay for her larger room. I expect better attention to her needs but as I said there are good employees and lazy ones. The Director now is very open to listen and make corrections. Her name is [name removed]. Review for Proveer at Quail Creek

Proveer was nice but preferred dining options and apartments with balconies at Quail Ridge. Reasons it was not a good fit, was because of meal options, and the apartments.

Dad is happy

We chose Quail Creek because it was a smaller facility and when we took my dad he really liked it. All of the people were and are very friendly and nice. They have been attentive to his needs since he has been here. We used them for respite care at first when we went out of town and he liked it so much that we just moved him in. I would definitely recommend Quail Creek, dad calls it home.

This is a great facility if you stay on top of things

The community is welcoming and kind. They seem to have a bunch of people that enjoy working there and their handy man, [name removed] is awesome. The front desk lady [name removed] is wonderful as well. They have good visiting hours and their remodel looks wonderful. The facility itself is very pretty and more affordable than many we looked at. When I was coming in, they were going through a change in leadership, so a lot of stuff would slip through the cracks. One huge frustration I have with them is how long it took to get doctor paperwork filled out for her long term disability. Another thing that's a little frustrating is sometimes there's spilt drinks all overmy loved ones furniture that hasn't been cleaned up. I usually clean it once a week at least. Overall though I'd say it's a great place to be

Highly recommend

We chose Quail Creek because you walk in and it is very bright and sunny and it gives you a good feeling. There is tons of sunshine all throughout the facility. The room sizes are spacious. The staff are very conscious about who comes in, you do have to sign in and sign out. It has been a good experience and I would absolutely recommend.

A place to thrive

This are has just been redone, there are a lot of big windows which brings in a lot of nice light, bright natural lighting. There is a park outside where they can walk around. The community has an area where the residents can come and gather, our loved one is not just surviving he is thriving and he seems to enjoys the meals and dining service.

Happy for a while

I moved my mother there when it was Emeritus. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent! Mom was in pretty bad shape and was cared for in the best possible way. The management was superb! Then it was changed to Brookdale. Left much to be desired. The food quality went down somewhat. The staff wasn't nearly as happy. However, mom was still cared for in a great and sufficient way. Then it was changed AGAIN to Quail Creek. Wow. What a horrible decision to have Grace Management take over. EVERYTHING declined. I watched the staff quit and go elsewhere. Thank God our favorite 2 stayed on board! I don't know what we would have done without them! The food quality was a disgrace. The cook was really good, but I'm sure she didn't have enough money to get what she needed for a decent menu. They terminated who I thought was the best manager they have ever had. She cared, she worked hard, the residents loved her, she had the best communication skills and made sure everyone was happy and went out of her way, on her own time, to make sure things were the way they should be. Then a new person came in who showed no care at all for the residents. She never even made eye contact with them! I know this because I watched her regularly! Seems like all Grace Management was interested in was collecting rent. Not much beyond that. Four years ago, I would have referred this facility to anyone! I wouldn't let my dog live there now! And it's a shame. My mom is now with Jesus and all-in-all, she was happy there because the workers took such good care of her. They all loved her and she loved them back. This place needs some serious work in order to attract new residents. I was told years ago they were going to remodel. It looks like something from the 1960's. The carpet is unexplainable, especially after all the past "accidents" which happened on the carpet. And they need to modify their menu and make it more desirable and nutricious.

Not a bad place to live

When I first started my search for a place to live, I really didn’t know where to go. I was recommended to look into Quail Creek because of A Place for Mom and overall it gave me a good impression just from the tour. Everyone seemed friendly and the residents are really great to talk to. They’re personable and cheerful and I’ve already made a lot of friends. The staff answers all of my questions that I have and they are helpful when I need them to be. The food is good, there’s plenty of it, and it’s pretty nutritious – it’s even helped lower my blood sugar. Everything stays clean, they help me when I need to bathe, and they take all the trash out regularly. They do offer laundry as well, that’s just not something that I take advantage of. We have outings once a week to Walmart, sometimes other places like ice cream shops, and there are dominoes, bingo, and board games. Quail Creek has a great price and what you pay for is what you get. It’s a really good deal. There’s plenty of help and overall I’m pretty happy here. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

Independent Living

I had wanted to tour this community because I had heard good things about it. But after doing my research about the community it was geared for more independent living people and I just didn't feel that they would have been able to handle my mothers care level needs so I didn't even bother to go in. However, from outside of the building, it looked very nice and well maintained.

Good Location

This community is in a good location not far from the hositpal. My mom is doing well here she settled in and is socialzing with the other residents. The community appears clean and well maintained. There is a nice courtyard with sitting areas and a walking path. The staff is friendly and kind however I wish there would be a little more open communication with them and families.

Care and comfort

We were happy with this community. We were wanting something more than what they could offer. We needed a community that was more secure at this time. The caretakers were very helpful. We were happy with the meals. They offered activities for her to try and participate. We would suggest that families tour this community for the care of a loved one for the needs that they offer.
