They received the assessment from the Dept. of Aging on June 28, yet we had to place SEVERAL calls to the DOA to find out over a month later that they had the report. My dad has been recommended for a nursing home, and Pioneer Gardens is assisted living. Both the DOA andPuoneer Gardens dropped the ball on this. We are greatly disappointed.

Definitely Needs Improvement

The pleasant part of the visit was meeting the receptionist and then the head chef. They were the only two friendly people there. The marketing director seemed a little put-off and did not seem at all interested or even willing to show us around. The building also looked kind of older and run-down.
