Park Place of Fountain City

Everyone at park Place was so welcoming. They were helpful on the move in. The place is clean and homey. There are tons of things going on.. games, exercise, outside activities and activities for all ages.

Based on our experience so far, there are continuing problems with the phone system and the food quality varies from poor to good

I visited here several times over a year before moving in. I was made welcome and included in activities right away. My apartment is equipped with internet, safety buttons and cord for urgent needs. I have a kitchen and 2 bedrooms and bathrooms. Maintenance is available if needed. Closets are spacious. My cat is welcome to keep me happy. I love my neighbors. We have a really good time and look out for each other's needs. We have chefs that take pride in supplying healthy and tasty food. The staff are great. The activities are fun and therapeutic. Eating out, field trips, therapeutic services and a beauty shop keep us looking good and healthy. I was developing health problems and could no longer maintain my home but still able to live independently. Of all the places I visited, I have found Park Place of Fountain City to meet all my needs. I would give them a 5 for all categories. My mom may have rated the food a little lower, but I thought it was always good. Loved the place. She was very happy there, and they were amazing in all aspects. The staff does a great job of offering activities for all interests, and they get to know the residents. They call them by name and check on them. And the facility was beautiful. Well kept and a very warm and homey environment. Best decision we could have made for my mom.

My dad's experience at Park Place of Fountain City was wonderful and I was very happy with how friendly the staff was. They treated him like family. Based on our experience, I would recommend this facility to others.

Be sure to check it out. I'm glad I moved here. It's located in a good area with shopping and medical services close by. The staff is efficient, friendly, and very accommodating.I picked this residence because of the services offered, the price and location.

Overall the place is excellent. Staff is great. All different sizes of apartments available. I am in 1 bedroom with a complete kitchen and large walk in closet- it is 649 square feet. Amenities are good. I do recommend Park Place of Fountain City to others.

The staff members are friendly and helpful getting folks involved with activities Mom fell just 4 days after getting there has a surgery went 3 weeks rehab been back there for a week and they reduced the rent for days she was out which was great

The staff at Park Place of Fountain City have always been fantastic. The housekeeping is great. Though my loved one often feels like it's more than he needs. Communication with the family has been fine. My only complaint is that the food has been substandard. My loved one often does not get what he asks for. Many times he has left a meal to go eat more because he didn't get what he ordered and what he got was not enough.

The facility itself is clean and cared for by a maintenance crew. The activities are good. Many choices for my mom to participate. Staff is great, they pay attention to their tenants. They are encouraging to the tenants. Mom is happy with the menu. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

My loved one passed away, but Park Place of Fountain City was great! I liked that most rooms are on the first floor and so it's easy to get to important places like the cafeteria. Sometimes the front desk person wasn't there, but I think they were around helping someone, and with all places, I think they are short staffed, but other than that, I liked the place. His apartment was a good size. They had some shuttle service and that was nice. And a cafeteria.

They are a very friendly staff, always there to help, even the residents. They make you feel at home! The apartment sizes here are so very roomy, you couldn't as for anything else! I would definitely recommend Park Place of Fountain City.

I am just so impressed with how much the staff genuinely cares for the residents. They make everyone feel like family and have a way of including everyone so no one is alone. My dad is grieving the loss of my mom, but the community whether staff or other residents surround him with so much love, it is making this difficult time for him much easier. Before he did not shower, shave, eat and was isolating himself. Now he has reasons to care. He's not just there. The employees truly care. Special thanks to [name removed] who ultimately is the one who got my dad to move there. My dad was struggling and skeptical to move. It was not an easy undertaking, but [name removed]'s warmth was like a big hug and made my dad feel accepted, safe, important and genuinely cared for.

The friendliness of the staff members and even the other residents living here get a 5+, I have really been amazed with how friendly they are. When it comes to the meals and dining service there are two buildings - one building you can go and sit down and order a hot meal, but in our building the meals are delivered to us so something the meals are cold. We have not participated in the activities as of yet but they have quite a bit going on and we have a driver that takes us to and from doctors appointments and we really like her. Based on our experience we would recommend Park Place of Fountain City to other family members.

Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. When you have a problem with something, they try to help you. They've been a little shorthanded, so things have not been going quite as smoothly. But I know they're hiring more people. It just takes time. They offer plenty of activities, and there's always something going on. There are all kinds of stores and things in the area, and several churches. They have a service here that will take us to doctor and other necessary appointments a couple days of the week.
