Palmetto Park

The staff is kind, patient and caring...I like the fact that utilities and meals are included with the monthly rent...they have senior night out.. They take them to wal-mart and other places so the residents are able to get the things they need...we have no complaints...

It's a wonderful senior living community in advance of needing assisted living. Many activities, on-site and outtings, are available for the residents. My Mom's concern is food preparation, i.e. often salty or spicy. For seniors, there should be more concern with restricted diets.My concern is that a recent weekend late night fire alarm went off. Required an evacuation. However, there is no plan in place for residents that could not walk down the stairs. Fortunately, it was a false alarm.

It is grand here, the residents are so so nice. I'm so grateful. Thank you so much. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend the Palmetto Park community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

Every time we come to visit our loved one we always see the staff members cleaning and our loved one has been very pleased with all of the staff members she has encountered. The meal choices are really good from what we have seen off the menu but sometimes our loved one is a little concerned with the preparation - but we have not had a meal experience ourselves so we just aren't sure. There is a lot of different activities for the residents there like crafting, exercise classes bingo, and they have a transportation bus that takes them to the grocery store on Monday's and different places on Friday's. For everything this community offers for our loved one is satisfies her needs so therefore the value for cost is excellent. Overall we have had a good experience so far and we would recommend to other families. Our loved one has even had some of he senior friends come and visit who are looking to move in .

I don't know what happened, but the food has gotten SO BAD that I am now spending a small fortune to have food delivered to my parents... even though meals are included in rent. What they are serving is gross and industrial... like prison food. Things have changed and I'm not sure why. Seems like profit has become more important than the mission of providing for seniors. My parents have been happy living here and I'm sad we now have to look for other options. Seniors need proper nutrition but they aren't getting it.

Palmetto Park is certainly a beautiful place to retire, it has met every single one of my expectations. Within the first week of being here all of the staff members new my name - they are very welcoming and family orientated. Initially the food overall is great and the cooking is great - the change up the meals regularly so nothing is repetitive. When we do have to shutdown due to covid they will deliver all 3 meals to us 7days a week. They call us on a regular basis to keep us updated with the covid regulations. When we are not shut down we have tons of different activities. I would highly recommend Palmetto Park to other families.

This place offers mediocre amenities for the resident. Their activities calendar leaves more to be desired in comparison to other competitors. Their management seems to care about the client to some extent. The meals are subpar and they charge $5 if you get a box delivery. They love fund raisers and looking for ways to have residents feel the need to donate to the organization. You get what you pay for.

The staff are super. They are very caring, and management is very easy to get along with. They're always planning events for the community. The apartment is small, but we got what we could afford, and my mom seems to really like it there. I would recommend both Palmetto Park and A Place for Mom 100%.

Our experience has been really positive so far, they are taking really good care of our loved one.

It suddenly became necessary for me to find a place to stay. I dreaded looking for one. But the minute I arrived at Palmetto Park I felt welcome. They worked with me to choose the accommodation that would be my home. The staff, cafeteria and janitor are super friendly and helpful. This is a quiet, clean and beautiful place to stay.

Our family is having a wonderful experience with Palmetto Park, and the staff members have just been outstanding. Unfortunately due to our loved ones health we will have to leave, but we would absolutely highly recommend this community to others.

The community is very neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. The food looks good and they have activities available for the residence to participate in. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

We haven't made the move into this community yet, but it is a lovely community. From what we have seen everything looks nice and neat. The staff was kind and helpful. The communication is great between the staff. There are nice activities, and good food offered. When we are ready to make the move it will be to the community.

This has been the best place so far! It is very clean here, and the staff are all very friendly. If she needs anything, they are quick to respond. They also have a lot of community events and activities. I wish I had looked at them sooner. Everything has worked out really well! She's happy there and that makes me happy!
