The community is a nice place. Outward experience may fool you! They need more staff. Nurse aids cared more than the other staff. Besides knowing the aids was unsure who were the nurses. AIDS WERE THERE WORKING HARD. HAD TO KEEP BUYING PERSONAL STUFF BECAUSE ITEMS WOULD GET LOST AND NO ONE COULD FIND THEM. BOUGHT my loved one new shoes. Saw them on my loved one's feet once! My family member has been at Oxford Glen for over 6 months and we are very happy with the care. All staff members we've encountered have been pleasant, helpful, and attentive. They appear to truly enjoy what they do! The residents are happy, respected, and are well-cared for. Those who are able to have regular outings for lunch, and indoor activities each day M-F. Most importantly, they are loved. I couldn't ask for much more!

We've had a mostly good experience. I wish they had more for the residents to do during the day. When I go in and visit, a lot of times they're just sitting there watching TV. There's a nice garden area and courtyard right outside the door that's not even used. It seems like they could engage the people a little more and get them involved in gardening, or something besides just sitting around. But the staff are very nice. And the facility is always nice and clean. It's also a secure, safe place for my loved one with dementia who tends to wander.

They do not tailor the activities towards the memory care residents, they are also short staffed. On top of that, sometimes people would call in which would make them even more short staffed. There are always new people coming in. The charge nurse who handles the medication is a big red flag she would get a zero rating. She set up our loved ones medicine wrong. As a nurse myself i know exactly what medicine she would need. They even sent her home for Thanksgiving with medicine that she was allergic to. The staff members are like a revolving door
