Brookdale Claremore

I am very happy with my experience with A Place For Mom, as well as the support that she has received in her new facility, which is Brookdale Claremore. They’re so good to check in, call and my heart and mind are at peace about my mom and where she is. The staff at Brookdale is very caring and thoughtful, and I am always updated with any changes or causes for concern and I know she is loved and taken care of there.

Staff is very attentive and helpful. The facility is clean and did not have any type of smell to it. It is an amazing place!

I think Brookdale Claremore is very clean. The staff is always helpful. The staff communicates with you. The meals are good quality and are good portions. I would recommend Brookdale Claremore to others, it's convenient for me.

It was very pleasant. They were very kind and truly caring. My dad had late stage dementia and had behavior issues, so they were appreciated to give us relief.

Some of the most compassionate caring people I have been blessed to work with . We love our residents and families.. our management have open door policies. Whether you are an employee or a family member you are always welcome to come to them with any questions or concerns.

The community is great - we have been more than pleased with their responsiveness to any and all requests. My dad has vascular dementia, so as far as peers in the community that has been hard. He repeats himself so much and can't remember much so he hasn't really made a friend. As I've interacted with his peers though, they are kind and friendly and seem to be understanding and patient with dad.

In every category I would give Brookdale a five. They are a phenomenal institution. Could not have found a better place for my parents. I especially love the staff if I could give them a 10 I would. Based on the experience we have already recommend this community to other families and we will continue to do so.

They were all so kind, and good to my loved one. They were great! They offer activities, such as; games, singing, exercise and personal visitation, and coloring.

They are doing a great job and everyone is very friendly. They staff all know him by name and hug him every time he comes though. Whenever I am there they are talking with him and messing around having a fun time and laughing - he loves it. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Claremore.

My loved one has gained a healthy amount of weight and seems to be eating well. [name removed] was super caring to her and would check on her and pray with her. They were able to resolve her paranoia due to dementia, and she now feels safe there. All the workers know who she is and come up and giver her hugs, which I also see them do with the other patients in memory care. If there's ever an incident, they always call me to let me know what's going on. I thought their exercise classes were great. I just wish her bathroom was kept a little cleaner.

We chose Brookdale Claremore because they had the most availability and they appeared to be the cleanest, friendliest, and she even knew a person or 2 here. What sticks out most to us is just the overwhelming friendliness and positivity from the staff. I would recommend this facility to others looking.

Community is nice, but we have had issues with administration. Community ordered [amount removed] worth of meds by mistake and we had to pay for their mistake. 90% of staff is good but some request are never fulfilled (exp Tylenol in timely manner). House cleaning is not great for residents-below average (no bed making, lost laundry).

Overall, the experience has been very positive. They seem to attend pretty well to our loved one's care. Cleanliness is good overall. I've just noticed a couple of times that her room needed to be picked up and wasn't. But that's not a common occurrence, just every once in a while. The activities director we see very frequently, and she has worked very hard to get our loved one out of her room and participating in the activities that they have. And I know that's been a struggle, because my loved one tends to be a loner and is happy just staying in her room. But they've worked very hard at getting her out and doing things. From what I can tell, the activities are very attuned to residents with memory issues, fairly simplistic but keep them physically active as well as trying to engage them mentally. The major issue I have right now is not all of the staff have been immunized for Covid, and we were just notified that two of the staff members have tested positive for Covid. But I know that positive cases are currently spiking in our area. I appreciate that they did let us know, and that they have stepped up to using a better quality mask for everyone.

The community had a good covid, plan and they did a good keeping the residence safe. I feel for the care my loved one received the community was fairly priced. Communication was good between the staff and our family. They posted pictures on FB and communicated by email. I would recommend it to others.

I really feel like the staff, especially the administrator and head nurse, have been very attentive to questions and phone calls. They've been really good with communication back and forth. I think they've done a good job during this hard year with Covid, from what I can tell. I feel like they do care about the patients, even beyond maybe what they're really required to.

The Brookdale Claremore is a pretty nice place. We chose it for the location because it is close to my mom's house so she can visit my dad. We thought he would do well there and it's a real nice facility. We really like the honesty of the staff and the care is good. I can call anytime to talk to him and the communication is good. Also, the price is good compared the other facilities.

Brookdale Claremore is a beautiful facility with the most loving and caring staff that we could’ve asked for. Moms in the memory-care division where they know exactly what to do for her. She’s happy there and we are very pleased.

Went very well!! We like this place and the bus service to Tulsa doctors puts it ahead of Brookfield which we also liked

Everything is going really well as my father is here. The staff team is very informative, they keep me up to date with everything, and very responsive. My father has a tendency to fall frequently before so the staff comes in and checks on him every hour just to make sure that he’s ok. Especially at night if he were to use the bathroom because he doesn’t use his walker. If he were to fall they will call me immediately and tell me if a nurse was able to look at him, if he had to go to the emergency room, and things like that. I rate them a 5 between everyone being attentive, communicative, letting me know what’s going on, and being cooperative. This facility has a memory ward as well so it was a good fit. I absolutely recommend this location, it’s great.
