We were promised a daily breakfast when we signed the lease, but it soon evolved into a weekly affair. The activities is perhaps the most attractive part of the experience. We had quality entertainment on a monthly basis. Furnishings in the units were pedestrian. Cabinets had sharp edges and low quality flooring. The total experience was well suited for my wife who was in the final stages of ALS. She really connected with the staff and other residents. I moved out and bought a house as I was not really interested in a sequestered life style. Additional note: the exit was not satisfactory. I was charged to have the carpets replaced, which I was vehemently opposed to. I refused to pay.... Read more

What has made it such a great experience so far is the staff members and the entire set up! The café and amenities is great! [name removed] and [name removed] are the best! We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The only concern I have is the numerous times the power went out. Apparently there is an issue with the grid in our neighborhood.

It's a good move. The staff is very nice and helpful. They answer any questions or concerns we may have. The residents are all nice people. They are really really friendly. The way it is situated is very comfortable and new. They come with a washer and dryer, microwave. I like the walk in shower. My only issue is they do not provide any transportation. They help call you a Lyft which is very expensive. I would love if that offered some form of resident only transportation for us.

I chose Overture Centennial because of the location, the amenities that they provided, and the floor plans. The apartment sizes are good, the kitchen designs in terms of cabinet space were not well thought out though. The staff is just really great and the manager is very open to any suggestions you may have. They are accommodating to doing new things and doing things differently. The flexibility of the manager is unique and very special. I would recommend the facility for active seniors.

Our family had an in person tour and the experience was great. Everyone was very informative and even after we moved our loved one into a different facility they still continued to call and check up on us. The reason we did not choose Overture was because the residents had to cook for themselves, there was no food plan.
The neighbors do care about each other and look out for each other. The staff are all very good and very helpful, they help set up activities and things for the residents to do. My loved one is very involved in the activities. Before covid there were a lot more food options for breakfast and then after covid there are a lot of prepackaged options now. There is not a lot of parking available and without reserved parking you have to park further away

I went with Overture Centennial because I wanted a facility that was 55 and over and they also have a big variety of different activities offered for residents. I have one of the smallest apartments they offer and it is tight, I am still trying to figure out what to get rid of and what to save. I do know the other apartments are more spacious, they use every inch very nicely and there is a lot of storage. I am very happy here and I would definitely recommend to others looking. Everyone here is happy with the location of the facility and it is also pet friendly.

Hallways are long, devoid of people, cavernous feeling. Pool minuscule... could never swim laps. Could be a major fire hazard getting to exits. WAY too expensive for me... I prefer to have time alone, only socialize occasionally. Definitely not worth the money to me.

My father is a resident there and enjoys it a lot. He is active all the time. Whenever we speak, he tells of a recent class or of the book he is reading for the book club or he is on his way to a social activity. He is definitely not staying in which I love! I'm especially relieved that with the pandemic that they have residents follow strict safety guidelines. I'm happy that he is happy!

What a beautiful experience with [name removed] and staff. Using your checklist enabled me to get all my concerns and questions answered. I was very impressed with all I saw. The special on the rental is great for me and my budget which will allow me to get the unit i liked. A follow up the following day was received. My two concerns were the lack of a garage and the commute between this place and my children’s place in Durham .

A Place for Mom has scored Overture Centennial 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
