Response from Oaks at Braselton
October 29, 2024Suzzane - Thank you for taking the time to leave a five star review.
The Oaks is welcoming and well maintained. They have recently undergone a management change so that has had its issues. They are working through them. The head of nursing is amazing and a great communicator. Overall we have been happy with the level of care received.

December 11, 2023Thank you for taking the time to leave a five star review.
My loved one was a resident at Oaks at Braselton and the experience was great. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff and care services were also great. They were over and beyond in all areas. I would recommend The Oaks at Braselton, as well as their Memory Care and Hospice Care, to family and friends.

Response from Oaks at Braselton
August 18, 2023Suzanne - Thank you for taking the time to leave a five star review. We are grateful for the opportunity to care for your loved one.
Her experience so far has been that her roommates are loud and the staff do nothing about it. It seems like there is no one monitoring the floors overnight. It has gotten to be pretty bad and we are thinking about pulling her out. I don't think they have the help they need for the amount of residents. The food is edible but not tasty. They have no variety and so it is the same thing they are eating each day. The quality is not what we would expect for the money we are paying. The positive is the facility is nice and staff that are there are very kind and helpful and trying their best. They are responsive and try to resolve issues.

September 14, 2022Thank you for the five star review!
Mom received extraordinary care during her time at The Oaks. The staff is exceptional-very loving, caring, kind, and adapted quickly to mother's declining health needs can't say enough good things.

Response from Oaks at Braselton
November 30, 2021Thank you for the kind words and your 5 star review Kerry!
My mom has been with the Oaks almost a year. She has transitioned from assisted-living to the memory care unit over the course of her stay. I really could not be happier with her care. The people who care for my mom really CARE for her. They really treat her well. It is costly but I have to say it is worth my peace of mind. For what it is worth I am a nurse myself and am very critical of her care and her environment.

The management staff are caring and engaged with the residents. They show the residents love and speak to them with kindness. The caretakers address the residents by name and I always have witness a kind word, acknowledges them and is concerned with their needs.

I visited 4 facilities before finding "The Oaks". The answer to a prayer. My father is 96 and mother is 93. I do not worry about them. I know they are being taken care of lovingly by the stellar staff. If I have any questions or concerns management satisfies them.

I have lived here for about a year. I am happy with everything. I have no problems and the staff is so helpful whenever you need something.

I'm a nurse who sees lots of patients in lots of facilities/assisted living places. Without question, The Oaks at Braselton is my favorite. It isn't the sparkliest, most modern or the newest. But it is the warmest, most caring and most welcoming of all of them. It is like home. Not like a hotel. It's comfortable -- feels safe and cozy. From the top level management all the way down the ladder, these folks really care and know their residents. It matters to them when something happens to a resident. They know details about them -- little things that they like or don't like. They laugh with them and engage them. They are patient with them. It's like being with family. I would place myself or a family member there without any hesitation!

My tour of this community was a good one. It is a nice and clean community. From what I saw the community appeared to be well maintained. The staff was very nice and friendly. It was a nice experience, but it just wasn't the place for my father.

This community is pretty clean, however it is not as nice as the place we chose. I would say it was a good value for the money. The residents seemed a little more advanced in their medical issues than my mom. We met the director and they were nice.

We have only been at The Oaks for a short time but it seems that our mother is settling in nicely. She looks forward to each day and keeps herself busy helping others. Makes her feel that she has a purpose. Thank you to The Oaks staff who have a passion for older people who don't need to be alone. They love on these elderly people and give them a reason to get up in the morning.

The tour of The Oaks at Braselton went well. I just showed up and they still managed to give me a proper tour and explain everything. It was a nice community and the set up was okay. It could benefit from a little updating. The staff that i met was very nice and caring.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. Unfortunately they did not have any openings when we were looking to place our loved one, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option!

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. I thought this was a very nice looking place, and it looked like they were able to provide good dementia care as well as assisted care. However I didn't like the feel here quite as much as some other communities I had seen, it didn't feel quite as homey.

I’m very impressed with them. My loved one was only there for a short time. They are very family oriented, very friendly, very responsible. All of the staff engaged with my loved one, but also with all the folks there. They seem to be very bonded the residents. The food was very good. I would use their services again if the need arose.
