Everyone there is friendly and kind and helpful. The community is very clean. The staff members are extremely friendly and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. Just like at home some of the meals are fantastic, and some are just ok. They took my father to fly in a biplane. It doesn't get better than that. They do so much for the residents. They go above and beyond. Definitely worth the cost.... Read more

The only frustrations so far have been some challenges with the elevator breaking down. Their current resident bus doesn't accommodate a wheelchair. There's been some difficulties with how they bill the rent, but my Mom and cousin have determined a workaround.

To tell you the truth, we were told some things before we moved in that were just not true. They had a dog park in the plans for the next month or so. Spoke to some people here that have been here for over a year and told the same thing. There are many elderly, as we are, that walk their dogs. It is so very dangerous. Someone is going to get hurt out in Texas weather and get really hurt. My husband is 86 and should not be out walking in either extremely hot or cold icy days. We would have never moved here if we had known they would falsify such important information.

We really love Morada Meadow Lakes! The staff are great. Recently my father had a stroke, and when my mother pulled the emergency cord, within 5 minutes they had called both EMS and myself, so I was able to make it there right as the ambulance was about to leave. They were fabulous with their response, and they checked on my mother continuously throughout as well. The apartments are big and spacious -no issues there. One aspect that's a bit weaker is the food, but its still adequate.

I think this facility is wonderful! My loved one is very pleased with it. She feels safe there and I feel safe having her there. The facility is very clean and welcoming. They are doing a little bit of remodeling and replacing carpet, but hopefully that is done soon. It hasn't been too much of an inconvenience, though. They have so many activities and games, church groups, singing groups etc and we are very happy with that. We feel like we did a great job choosing her facility. The staff is very nice. The cleaning staff doesn't speak very much English and that causes a language barrier at times, but they're very thorough and do great job. They'll do anything you ask with no problems. They do greet you at the door and have a security process to get into the facility, which we love. The food is good, I have eaten there a few times myself. They have a buffet line with plenty of variety. My loved one is a very picky eater, so her satisfaction with the food says a lot! The family has all been very happy with the facility. I would recommend them to friends and family.

My wife and I have lived in morada meadows since [date removed]. At first we adored it, but the newness has worn off. The food served i so-so and if you are on special diet forget it. You wind up paying for something you can't benefit from. There is an extra person charge of $605. The staff is partial. If you have a complaint it depends on who files the complaint and against whom as to how it is dealth with. There are alot of gossipers and the health service who comes in will over charge. Be careful, the walls are thin and the laundry rooms are competitive. Right now the place is in shams due to painting. We once enjoyed the place but now that the true nature is exposed I no longer feel welcome.

We really like the cleanliness of it and the simplification of the lifestyle, it is really just a good and easy lifestyle here. They have good room service, they help change the sheets and wash the towels. Based on the experience we have had so far with Morada Meadows we have already recommend this community to other families and will continue to do so

Morada Meadow Lakes was on par with a couple other places I toured in the area, but I didn't like them. The facility didn't look clean. It had a smell to it like an old folks home. It was cheaper, but I just didn’t have a good feeling from it like I did from the place we chose.
This has been a great experience. My loved one is happy here. Housekeeping, meals, linen changes and laundry service for the linens and the room are included in the monthly fee.

Morada is a very friendly and good place to be. The staff are good and easy to work with. They have been a little short staffed, like a lot of places are due to the pandemic. The food is good. There are some choices for residents to choose from if they would like. Some of the activities available include exercise, dancing, church services, movies, bingo, and more for the residents to choose from.

I see the other residents doing activities and they look like they are having a great time at this community. My loved one likes the atmosphere, the friendliness and the staff. My loved one feels like he is in a luxury apartment now and loves it here. The staff speak and have conversation with my loved one often and are there for any needs but we are still getting settled in and services set up.

The staff are very nice and this is a very welcoming environment for your loved one. Once my loved one toured this community she knew that she did not want to see any other place and this is where she wanted to be.

My mom lives there and when she leaves they require her to fill out so much info on a computer which she is not computer savvy. They want to know where she is going, how long she will be gone, the pone number of who she’s leaving with and so on. It’s just to much. Also when her family comes to visit it’s the same questions. We feel like it’s harassment to a degree. It takes a long time to fill out this form. This is her home and should not be questioned like that. I get that you need to know when she comes and goes for emergency like fire or whatever but what they want to know is just wrong it’s simply to much info. We are not happy with this. She pays a lot of money each month because it’s supposed to be her home but she’s starting to feel like a prisoner. Please change your policy on the info you require to come and go. We would appreciate it. We also think one of your employees is very rude and demeaning also.

Our family had an in person tour and it is a really nice place, but it would be a better fit for loved ones who are more mobile and can navigate through multiple different floor levels.
I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The cleanliness, meals, safe feeling, and friendliness all stick out to me. I truly felt safe having my loved one in the community. Bingo, movies, exercise classes, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from.

The apartments were smaller than we wanted. There wasn't a lot of interactions between the residents, and the hallways were long.
[name removed] was very friendly & answered all questions without hesitation! She showed us 3 different rooms, the dining area, the outdoor area, the library & more. We saw lots of residents doing activities & they all seemed very happy & spoke to us. The staff we saw were also very friendly. All questions was answered, [name removed] even shows us the mailboxes! She gave us brochures about additional services like Klauus and Borrowed Sisters as well. Very impressed! High on the list for consideration!

A Place for Mom has scored Morada Meadow Lakes 7.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
