I toured this community and was very impressed! They have a great team and a new Executive Director, named [name removed], who is very easy to talk to. I know my mom will be in great hands with the amazing care team they have there.
We chose Memory Care of Naples because it was recommended to us. They seemed the most friendly and reasonable when I called and talked to the staff. We also liked what we saw when we went to tour with them. I would recommend to others who are looking for memory care for their loved ones.

The people who led the tour were excellent. They answered all of my questions. Really what I was looking for were the three C’s: care, compassion, and communication. And Memory Care of Naples met my approval. However, distance played a part in our choice, and we found a different place that I felt embodied those three C's the best.
We were very thankful to have found Memory Care of Naples. Our father’s vocabulary and memory became an issue and it is remarkable how much love and patience they show him. The facility and dad’s room is always clean. Dad always enjoys all his wonderfully prepared meals and especially desert and the company of his friends and the friendly staff. During the pandemic they have shown they can maintain the same remarkable dedication to all the residents there. We are thankful for having found the best place for our father.

After a 6 months at an assisted living facility we decided to move my father to a memory care home. For many there is little difference when they hear, nursing home, assisted living, memory care... If your loved one has memory issues such as dementia a memory care unit with locked doors is a must. Memory Care of Naples offered us the peace of mind knowing that my dad would be safe and sound. The staff at Memory Care of Naples cares and gets to know each and every resident and their family. Feeding, dressing, medicating, and toileting are all part of the all inclusive price. Hospice services are offered and there is usually a hospice nurse on the premises daily. Coordination and communication is a key feature at Memory Care of Naples. I was given contact numbers for the head nurse and the coordinator. My questions and concerns were quickly addressed. Although we all want our loved ones to have as much freedom and autonomy as possible in their remaining years, it is well worth your time to see what Memory Care of Naples has to offer. If I had a friend ask me for a recommendation I would highly recommend Memory Care of Naples for their loved one's care.

Finding a wonderful, loving, caring place for my mom, was of the utmost importance to us. We found it, in Memory Care of Naples. She was cared for like a family member! The facility was very clean and the food was good. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a caring facility.

Brought Dad here about 3 months ago when it was clear he needed memory care. The staff was wonderful and took good care of him. He was there during the coronavirus time and the staff made extra efforts to ensure we could talk to him. There's an outdoor courtyard where patients can walk or sit outside. And they have activities to stimulate them and to get them exercise. Highly recommend the facility.

My mom has been a resident of Memory Care Naples for a number of years and her care has been exceptional! The staff, is kind, caring and professional. With a limited number of residents, the each member of the staff is aware of the needs and preferences of every resident, from their medical concerns to their favorite foods. The Care Associates who have the everyday contact with the residents are exceptional. Mom calls them her “best friends” and the interaction is heartwarming to see. While mom became a resident for medical as opposed to memory concerns, I would strongly recommend Memory Care Naples for any relatives with either condition.

We removed my father from this facility due to a serious lack in patient care. Patient needs are not met due to understaffing. It is a memory care facility that is run like independent living. The patients are not stimulated and spend their days sitting around in wheel chairs or alone in their rooms. There were time when we would go in to visit my dad and there was not a single nurse or staff member to be found. It was like a ghost town. There wasn’t even anyone at the front desk. I would walk through and see patients “parked” in the common area in wheelchairs doing nothing. Several times we went to my fathers room to find he was in bed sleeping and not even dressed for the day. I would go out into the hall to look for someone and I literally could not find a single staff member or nurse to help my dad. My fathers room always smelled like urine as did the hallways. At meals patients would sometimes sit and wait close to an hour for food. My father is now at the Villa at Terracina Grand which is a wonderful place with plenty of caring staff and lots of activities for patients. We are very happy since we moved my dad there and I would highly recommend it. As far as Memory Care of Naples goes I would strongly recommend against putting your loved one there.

My tour here was wonderful and the staff did a great job showing me around and answering all my questions. This community would have been my first choice for my husband until I found another community close to my home where I would be able to ride my scooter to see my husband when my MS was causing me trouble and I could not drive because of it. I would recommend taking a tour.

My sister had a pretty good respite stay at this community. She said the food was ok. The staff were friendly and tried to encourage her to participate in some of the daily activities. This community is kept immaculate and I would use them again for a respite stay.

For the first time I finally feel that my mother is getting the care she needs. This is a wonderful community, and she is doing very well since her move here. I know she is safe, and receiving great care. They have a great staff, and they are really on top of things. They have been very kind, and quick to response to any help she needs. They are well worth the money. The community is nice, and well kept when I visit. The meals are good, and they offer nice activities for the residents. All is well since my mothers move to this community. I would recommend it to my family, and friends.

A small friendly community. Most of the staff seem very concerned with the care for my loved one. Everything is on one level. There is no 3rd or 2nd floor for that matter. The dining room is crowded on one side and very open on the other. Cottage cheese for dinner? Wouldn't be my choice. Prices are not what is stated on this site. Could use some updating decor.

Response from Memory Care of Naples
March 9, 2017Thank you for your review. I would really appreciate your feedback and I am always available to meet with all of my families. While we have a 6 week, rotating cycle, on our food menu, I am open to any suggestions you may have. In order to satisfy our residents, we encourage feedback on all of our services, including our menus. Please feel free to stop by, or call me, at any time. Also, if you have a question or concern or our pricing, please contact me. Our pricing listed on this website are current and do not deviate. I look forward to servicing you in and assisting in any way I can.
There are some downright curious reviews on this site for this facility. The Executive Director and the Director of Health Services (he is an LPN - there are no RNs on staff here) never come out of their offices to either engage family members or manage and oversee what the aides are doing or not doing. They don't care. There are some very good aides here that approach and care for the memory impaired properly and with dignity and there are aides that don't have the heart and or training to do the job. They are chronically understaffed for the acuity level and needs of the residents, Like many facilities, they manage the care by their bottom line - profit. If you or other family members do not show up often and at different times your loved one will sit in soiled clothing for hours, or not be cleaned and bathed properly, or be given the bare minimum for sustenance and proper hydration.

Response from Memory Care of Naples
March 9, 2017Thank you so much for your review. I would love the opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have at the time of your choice. All of my resident's families have my personal cell phone number and I am always available to meet with all of my families at any time. Please let me know when you are available. I am usually in the building on a daily basis, including weekends, and I am always available to meet at your convenience. I will always handle any questions or concerns personally to ensure all of our residents are properly cared for and families are satisfied with all aspects of care and services. Both myself and the Director of Resident Services have over 28 years of nursing experience and take great pride in ensuring that our residents receive the best care possible. While Assisted Living Facilities and Memory Care facilities do not require any nurse on staff, we, however, staff an LPN 24 hours a day and 7 days a week in order to address any care or medical concerns families may have in addition to medication management. I look forward to hearing from you soon and.
The staff are doing the best they can to handle my husband's difficult behavior. I am very, very, very pleased with their effort. This memory care understands the complications that can go with memory issues. I like that the staff respond professionally with his behavior and they have 24 hour sitters and doing all they can to help him out. They even do all they can to help me out.
