Assisted and independent. Assisted provided by outside caregivers or them. If skilled care or memory support needed, resident has to move to a different facility. Jay says it is a very diverse community in terms of education and geography. Pleasant place. However, ALL the residents seems rather infirm. Units were exceptionally small and older...formica counters, white appliances, linoleum in kitchen & bath. Common areas OK, but not as extensive or luxurious as some. Views from rooms that faced the "green" areas were pretty. Didn't get a "warm & fuzzy" feel from the director; he seemed like he was going through the motions rather than truly interested in my Mom's care & my concerns.
