My sister and I had a wonderful experience visiting Martin-Boyd Christian Home and talking with Brooke Steele. [name removed] was very informative and answered all of our questions and provided us with information that we didn't know about. She was very open and welcoming and made us feel as if we were at home. We are very excited and looking forward to my Mother being a part of this home. We know she will be safe and very much looked after.

Martin Boyd Christian Home was a godsend when my mother had to leave her retirement home for an assisted living home. The Martin Boyd Administrative staff could not have been more informative, helpful, and kind in getting us settled. Everyone from the floor workers to the nursing staff, to the kitchen workers, and even the maintenance men treated my mother respectfully and doted on her, as they do all of the residents. The program director works hard to involve the residents in daily planned activities. The best quality of MBCH that sets it apart from most others is its non-profit status. Supported by the area Church of Christ churches, their monthly rent is close to one half of other assisted living facilities. Where others charge extra to administer medicine and extra to do laundry, Martin Boyd does not. They also do not charge extra to aid with showers or assist with dressing and simple grooming. How great is that! If there ever was a problem, the staff bent over backwards to make sure everything was done to bring a quick resolution to the matter. My mother's health declined suddenly at the end of December. Hospice was called in early January, and my mother passed away on January 7. The Martin Boyd family really showed our family Christian love at this time. Mother was allowed to stay in her room there with Hospice care and everyone bent over backwards to help us in so many ways. We will never forget their acts of kindness to Mother and to us. The two years that she lived at Martin Boyd were a blessing.

Martin Boyd was the perfect option for my precious parents’ last 3 years of their lives. They had always known and said that’s where when the time came the only place for them. The love and care and compassion they showed to them and to us as a family was immeasurable... we have made life long friends that became family to us as well. We feel very blessed and thankful for MB and all it’s staff. They have been a blessing.. although our parents have both gone now to be with Jesus, we will miss our MB family! The staff at Martin Boyd were so good to my Dad. He was only there for a short time. My sister's and I all felt like Dad was given great care. So thankful he had the means to live there during his last days. Much appreciated by my family. Thank you!

My mother has been a resident at Martin-Boyd for almost 3 years. The staff has been great and she is very happy there. She loves working jigsaw puzzles with her friends and she especially enjoys Bingo which is one of the many activities they have during the week. The Activity director is great about encouraging the residents to join in for daily games and crafts. If you are looking for an Assisted Living for your loved one this is the perfect place. Their monthly rate is the lowest I found in the Chattanooga area. I give Martin-Boyd 5 + stars!

My grandmother has been a resident of Martin Boyd Christian Home since April 2015. The staff welcomed her with open arms and she absolutely loves this community. The daily activities give her the ability to socialize with new friends she made after moving in. She really enjoys the meals, and always talks about the outstanding level of care. From the family member perspective, I always notice the cleanliness of the facility and how great the staff treat my grandmother. I would recommend this assisted living community to all my friends and family.

The Martin Boyd facility and staff were a blessing to our family. My father moved in and was happy to be living there. It took so much pressure and worry off the family. The staff was always in contact with us regarding our fathers care. They were such a blessing and I would recommend this facility to anyone needing senior living.

My mother and mother-in-law were both residents of Martin-Boyd Christian Home at different times. We found the caregivers to be attentive and considerate.. we would highly recommend this facility.

My dad was loved & cared for by the staff. It was a challenging transition for him & the staff was so helpful. They prayed with him, encouraged him. We will be forever greatful.

The staff were friendly and they encouraged my uncle to walk and be more active. The food was good and they offer snacks throughout the day. The have an enclosed garden for the residents. They are remodeling the assisted living section. The community is clean and I would recommend it.

Everything has been going great so far. They have offered a lot of things for the residents to do, but it has been a rough transition for my uncle. They are doing a good job helping him. The food is good and we really enjoy the quality of care that they are showing my uncle.

My husband was asked to leave after a month. He has dementia and they were not able to care for him. The staff was friendly, the food was good,they had activities but he had a difficult time adjusting. It wasn't a good fit for us.

They are doing a very good h=job here. We like that the community is big and open. We also like that they have a lot of activities for the residents. Mom is enjoying them. Also mom knew some people here so it made it a smooth transition for her. The food is good and they always have the community clean.

This community has really helped my love one get back on her feet and start to enjoy life again. They have great activities to offer as well as taking fun and exciting field trips. The staff have been extremely helpful and are always friendly. I also was very pleased to know that they offer a laundry service and come in everyday to clean the rooms. It always looks spotless. I am overall very happy and would recommend this place to a friend or family.
