I just figured they'd remind him 2 do his daily cares each day & stuff, but they don't. And, at the time, the Office told me there's no good help at any of the nursing homes, & high turnover.
We loved the staff there, especially the administrators and head nurse. Room sizes and amenities offered were nice. They did a great job making a very difficult situation somewhat easier for us.

The facility is very open and inviting. They need to hire someone who will actually go get residents & ask them to come to activities instead of letting them sleep. They have 1 aide who is better at inclusion than the actual activity person.

I liked it better if my dads memory care needs were more acute. He's still fairly high functioning and maple view felt a little more sterile/"inpatient-like" for him right now. If he declines, I would definitely reconsider though.
It's been good. The staff is always saying hello, and greeting me when I walk in. The food is good. They have them doing something all the time with activities, and they try to get the residents engaged. We picked this community because it was close to home, cost and it was all-inclusive memory care, and they provide everything. nice job of trying to get the residents involved.

This facility is very good. The staff is attentive and willingly accommodate resident requests. The food is fine, just not a lot of variety. I do wish they would serve more fruits and vegetables. Communication with the family is good. Housekeeping is daily and laundry is done as needed. Both are very good. The activities are great, good variety and they always have something going on. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Felt like a warehouse.
I have not had one problem with Maple View Memory Care. They are pricey, but the care their put out is irreplaceable. We chose this facility because they are a smaller community only about 37 residents, and it made me feel better so they could keep a closer eye on her. They were excellent with communication, they would call all the time and every time I called they would call me back quickly. I went to take her Christmas presents and there was an activity sheet with all of the things they do, it looked like they put on activities from the morning until 3-4 in the afternoon, so I know they kept them busy. I was very pleased with our experience, they treated her well and had such patience with her. I would highly recommend to others looking.

My mom is here in this community and is so happy here. The level of care is wonderful. They communicate very well with me about anything happening with my mom. It is nice and clean. The food is good they get 3 meals a day and a snack in the afternoon. And they do have other options if you didn’t like the meal of the day. She enjoys getting involved with the daily activities, she was dancing the other day and I didn’t even know mom could dance! The outdoor are is nice looking for when it warms up. I would recommend this community.

A Place for Mom has scored Maple View Memory Care 7.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
