Overall I like the activities they have and my mom is happy. They get a 5 for cleanliness. Once or twice I've smelled an accident but it's always clean, considering who/what they deal with. The staff at Memory Care have always been super nice. There was a nurse awhile back who was irritable but she is no longer there. My only complaint would be that it is very hard to get answers from managers and there is so much staff turnover that what one person says doesn't hold for whoever follows them. Quality of care- good. The people actually caring for her are tender and kind. Not always the smartest, but they really do care for her. Also, mom is supposed to be on a low salt diet but is not. I've realized that just is not going to happen. I'm ok with that because I just want her to be happy in her last yrs.... Read more

The Range was really good because they offer whatever care is needed at a flat rate. Other places charged extra for every little thing needed. The food was just not good all around- new chef? New menu? My mother participated at first, but then lost interest. They needed a better activities coordinator.

I would NOT recommend. Especially if your loved one has typical dementia related "trouble" behaviors. I would also highly advise AGAINST paying the price lock fee.

Beautiful open facility with large windows to see outside. Outdoor areas surrounded by building, so set up well for Memory Care. Initial time they're very pleasant, then began to regress after the first 4 to 5 weeks. We saw other people wearing her clothes and she would be low on her clean laundry. Worst of all she was left in saturated depends to point of horrible fungal rash from front to back. When she would dry bottom after a showed, blood would puddle in floor from towel rubbing that irritated skin to point of breakdown. She was sent to hospital twice for this. The second time was not allowed to return because after the UTI and extreme fungal rash, her mentality worsened. This was the turning point to her becoming septic in the end. She was there about 10 weeks or so.

I would let a freind know, how caring everyone was with my mom. When we would be worried about what we thought was outrageous behavior they always calming replying it was just part of what she was going through. They took actions to help her adjust as best they could. You just had the feeling they cared for all who were in their care. Was it perfect? No, there were times I wish there had been more communication but also understood that's part of the transition. We selected Madison at the Range because their facilities were very bright and clean. It is all one level and not over powering in size which was important for our mom's consideration. Most importantly the people from the original tour through her stay were welcoming and caring.

My loved one was previously a resident at Madison at The Range and everything was very good for him at this facility. His stay here was a great experience! The facility was always clean and everyone was always professional. The activities and the care services were very good. We ended up moving my loved one to a facility closer to family, but I would definitely recommend Madison at The Range to others!
We love the beautiful building and peaceful atmosphere. We have been very pleased with the kind and sincerely friendly care received from the staff. The quality, country style along with the cleanliness and excellent organization has made us feel very at home and secure. Thank you for your excellent administration!

It was a perfect for for my loved in. Plenty of space for walking. A little putting area surrounded by a sidewalk right outside his door. The staff was warm and welcoming. There was someone who worked at his previous residence there and she remembered my dad and was happy that he'd be there. The price lock option was convenient as well as the on site pharmacy option.

Don't put your loved one here. Staff is constantly changing. If they can't treat their employees well enough to stay that is a clear indication of patient care. My mother was sent out to the hospital after a fall requiring stitches. She was sent out early in the morning, returned to the facility that afternoon. When I went to see her she was asleep in the bloody sheets she was found in that morning. Zero care at this place.

I would definitely recommend the facility. Everyone has been so helpful as my mom is working through her adjustment to her new home. It's so bright and cheerful throughout and that is reflected in all who work there. We had a unique experience in that my mom was originally in assisted living for a week before having to be hospitalized and then rehab for a month then into Memory Care. It's been a better transition to Memory Care because of all the great help and support provided which we now realize was needed. I would add there needs to be more communication when first moving in. We were not aware of some of the expectations - nothing extreme but would have be good to know (example need to provide toilet paper, learning who to call for what information, her weekly schedule for laundry). Being in Memory Care it's a challenge to get details from Mom and having some of this information would help us help the staff. My mom has had a difficult time adjusting and the patience the staff has shown is so reassuring. We appreciate all they do for our mom and the others every day.

The food was terrible, there were no activities and no heat. I would not recommend Madison at The Range. I was very disappointed especially since we lost $[removed] because we left just after the 90 day period.
They have been going through a lot of administrative changes at The Range. Getting payments processed, getting credits etc. has been a challenge. They have hired someone new but we have not met them yet. I would say that has been the biggest problem on our end so far.

Our family had in person tours and we had a great tour and experience with this location but because of the logistics just made them to far away for us
I toured this community and it was really nice. I really liked it. I'd heard good reviews about them. Cleanliness was great, everyone was very friendly. They even helped me with setting up VA Benefits for my loved one. Ultimately, they indicated that they didn't think it was the best place for my loved one's Memory Care needs. But again, very nice place and great staff!
My problem/worry is that the overhead staff has changed two or three times and they do not communicate at all. I can't seem to get a monthly statement and when I do it's a system that even my bookkeeper can't follow. We are very aggravated over the constantly rising price, even though we had a written agreement. We will have to meet with them after Christmas and if it is not resolved, we will have to move my mother to another place. That would be sad as she likes where she is

We picked this community because of the courtyards, windows, and visibilty of the outdoors, which allowed the residents to go in and out. It would be nice if, they offered more activities that are not religious, and more activities that engage with verbal behavior. Sometimes they are undersatffed, so there is an issue with maintaining staff. The staff that does the day in and out caregiving is kind.

We chose Madison at The Range because it came recommended to us. They were responsive and when I went to tour and talk to them I really liked what I saw and what I heard. The meals that they serve are chef prepared and they are very good. Whenever I go in and she is cooking it smells amazing. My loved one is in a shared room, but the way it is set up it is almost like he has his own room. I think it is a wonderful place and I would highly recommend them to others looking.

A Place for Mom has scored Madison at The Range 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
