It was pretty clean and sometimes friendly. the care, staff, activities and value were mediocre. The food was horrible.

I would highly recommend the community to others for their loved ones. Not only the staff but [name removed] the director is so involved with the residents and other staff. This really impresses me. [name removed] goes out of her way to make sure things are right. The staff communication with the family is great! There are three meals a day provided to the residents and they have choices to choose from.

I would say I would like more attendants but the ones they have are good. I feel they have as many aides as any other facility in this area. There are about 2 aides per 16 people.

I moved my mother into Wickshire on [date removed]. I chose this place because of the roomy apartment and the over all look of the place and grounds. We are using the long term care specialist that Wickshire has contracted with. I am my mothers POA but I am never informed about any medical visits by the doctor or his PA. My mom recently became ill on [date removed] and on the [date removed] I requested a Covid test for her. I was told that due to company policy, the facilities did not give test. On Sunday my mother was so bad I called an ambulance to take her to the ER where she tested positive. She is now in isolation for 5-7 days but they do not plan to test her after isolation period. If I had been out of town or unable to check on her, I guess they would have let her just suffer or die. Since they will not test, I fail to understand how they can safely return her into the home's population after ISO.

They are just now starting to bring back the activities with all the restrictions, but the food is terrible terrible. There could be improvements on the food as well as the staff. The charge nurse during the day yelled at our loved one and myself on our very first day and since then just has not been nice to our loved one. They are being bought out be a new company and should happen at any minute. I have learned it is always about the money, however with this new company they are talking about hiring new management and new trained staff members. As well as come up with a new meal plan, they way of cooking the meals and delivering the meals. So there is hope on the horizon

It's a good place, with nice, friendly people here. I really like the size of the apartments. It's more roomy than what I saw elsewhere. It's a great location, not too far from the mall, and about two blocks from the drugstore. There's plenty of places to eat around. They're in the process of changing ownership, and they should be remodeling the exterior. As far as I know they're planning on keeping the same staff.

While our loved one was there we had a good experience, and the community was very clean. The staff members and care services were very good. However, our loved one was not a big fan of the meals and she did not get into the activities, but we did think it was a really good value.

I would tell people not to go to this community. We moved my loved one out of this community recently. We felt the care wasn't good for our loved one, and felt that if we left my loved one in the community the care would continue to go down hill.

The rooms are very spacious with an open floor plan. You have your own restroom and shower with a big walk-in closet. The free cable is also a great plus. Would recommend this facility to anyone looking for good activities, food, company with quality care.

We loved the it. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The price was in my loved ones price range. We will probably be placing her here. They are working with us to provide the best care for my mom in law. The place is very clean and welcoming

The property is nice and love the fact there are courtyard entries from some of the rooms - would make it easy for mom and dog. Place did not have the warmest feeling as the others.

The Rambling Oaks Assisted Living was a nice place, but we had to go back a few times to be able to get a tour. Other than that the place was clean and everyone was friendly. They have called me and followed up with how my loved one is doing.
