I cannot say enough good things about Luther Woods rehab center. My father went here following a bad experience with another rehab after hip replacement surgery. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and kind. My father’s team communicated with one another and the family about his progress and needs. They had appropriate equipment and furniture for someone with orthopedic needs. The nursing staff stayed on top of his medicine and made sure that he did not have a fever (or complications). The grounds are full of trees, flowers and birds. The hallway is bright and there is always a mix of music playing softly (1930’s up). The rooms are double rooms but the administration worked to keep my father’s room a single since that is what he preferred. The social worker called a week after my father got home to make sure that his home rehab was going as planned. The facility is older and the food is not fancy but if your goal is to get your loved one back on his/her feet in a caring manner, this is the place!... Read more
