Llanfair Care and Rehabilitation

Rehab is going well.

The rehab therapy is good.

We know the nurses and physical therapist, it's just the familiarly of it. It's our second time here. The staff are very, very friendly. I get a hug from everybody. The LPN who has been the one taking care of him most of the time, she is very helpful and kind to us. The aides are always very kind to him. The nurses are very good. I am not very happy with the doctors who are assigned to him though. I am a nurse and they argue with me all the time. Also the food is terrible.

They have a dedicated program for Spanish speaking families. Other facilities in area do not have this.

My loved one is improving and making progress. The meals are better than the hospital but he'd like more food!

I'd recommend Llanfair Care & Rehab! I would have preferred a little more communication from the facility.

I see the level of care much better than the other facility we have been to. I have been other facilities where the care hasn’t been up to par. They take a proactive approach here. He seems to well cared for. He is well groomed in the morning. I would come back here.

From what my dad was saying, overall he likes it there. He likes the staff and thinks they are pretty friendly. But, there are a couple of things he isn't happy about. If he is not able to get himself up, they don't help him to get him for rehab. They come pretty quickly when he calls. He doesn't see the social worker often, and that is something we both don't like. It could use a little work. One thing that I noticed, he has a lot of dietary needs. They don't ever reach out to me directly, which is something that bothers me.

It has been a good experience at Llanfair overall. My wife had an issue in the first couple of days with an aide giving her an attitude.

They are taking care of my loved one. The staff is really great with the patients. The meals are great. The communication is good. The room had been smelling but they replaced the bed that was sticky in urine.

My loved one hates the food. It is cold and the portions are small. Otherwise everything is good. We have a monthly meeting because I am not in the area.

They have been helpful with trying to get my loved one to eat. The communication is terrific! A couple of times there have been incidents and they reached out to me right away. When they did not get a hold of me they reached out to my daughter. They have done such a good job in terms of their communication!

The nurses are very good. They all are very friendly. They are always reaching out to communicate with me.

The communication has been very good so far. The cleanliness could use some attention in the bathrooms.

So far from what I have seen up there, it has been good. My loved one says the therapy is good. The nurses have helped me out, called me back, and they respond to my questions. My loved one doesn't like the lunch and is not eating it.

My loved one cannot open some of the containers and when I was there they did assist with this but when I am not there my loved one said the staff is not as helpful. There have been a few things that have not met my expectations. The food is so-so. The food looks terrible and the chicken is dry. The nurses were rough and mean and I mentioned this to the social worker and she said an email has been sent out.

The staff have been pleasant and helpful. They seem to be taking good care of my mom. She gets PT and she is happy with it. I had a meeting with the nurse and social worker and it seemed fine. The nurses are good and she likes them. When she calls for help this can take a while, but when they do come they are helpful. I like the social worker. It seems like a very clean facility. My mom complains and she wants to be home eating her own food. Sometimes she does not get what she ordered.

My dad is very happy there, he's comfortable and doing well. Mom is happy with the services and the facility. They exercise him a few times a day. Everyone there is excellent and the staff is caring. The staff is top grade. They are very friendly and helpful. They call me right away if there are any issues. It seems to be kept and well maintained.

My loved one is getting very good care. The staff are compassionate and informative and they get back right away when ask questions. It seemed very clean to me.

People treat ya right, not like you're nothing like other places treat you. The staff friendly and outgoing. Rehab's going good, they're moving his arm now that he couldn't before and still working on getting those fingers moving. The nursing care is real good! The social workers are good too.
