I wished that I had never come in contact with this (ALF). You can’t ever get in touch with anyone after hours so if your loved one has a emergency after business hours, too bad. They don’t dispense medicine correctly as they don’t compare the MAR to what the doctor prescribed. The med techs are uneducated. I know as I asked them the simplest of questions and they didn’t know the answers. I wanted to speak with the dr in ref to a medication that he put my daughter on and the dr NEVER called me back. My daughter has low blood pressure and they had her on a medication for HIGH blood pressure! as well as the medication for low blood pressure!!! This facility put my daughter in the memory care unit against my will and would not move her back stating they had no bed in the ALF side which was not true. They also had my daughter in a room that was not considered a regulation bedroom as it had NO CLOSET. Her clothes were kept outside her room where anyone could access them. Many more no room..

My mom is a hard person to take care of and they are doing a great job. They have shared rooms. The food is good but some times it is cold. It is in a good location. The management really tries to take care of all the residents needs. They are a good bunch.

3 houses linked by very narrow hallways. Hallways go many directions. Smells old, needs a facelift.

I would not recommend this place Dirty, food is awful. Now I am worried for my loved ones even more, where were caregivers when 81 yr old man got out? No supervision here thats for sure not only that, but he had just been released from jail! Your management tesm needs to resign, and state close your door forever. I have already found a very nice place for my loved ones. Much better atmosphere here too! Goodbye!

I had a bad experience. My loved one ended up going to the hospital because of the lack of care. It might be a great place for people who need independent living, but if your loved one needs more care, this might not be the place.

It’s all good. They’re all five. They’re very helpful and took care of everything. We’ve had a very good experience with them.

It was dirty. The caregivers didn't know what they were doing. It's like the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing. They didn't stay on top of care with her, and when we would visit, we would have to tell them what to do. Smell and total mold in the bathroom were disgusting. The rugs were so nasty you wouldn't want to walk on them. When we moved her in it was all we could afford, but when the circumstances changed, we moved her out.

A Place for Mom has scored Lakeland Manor Assisted Living Facility 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
