Thank you so very much for the compassion and kindness you showed to my Mother and my family during such a difficult time. I have comfort knowing that my Mother was able to remain in what became her home through the end of her life. Everyone treated all of us with such respect, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you a million times over!

My parents were residents of the 4th floor memory care. The genuine love you gave to our parents is a true testament to your vocation. Though our mother's stay was only 3 months, she enjoyed all of you! She had such peace knowing that her husband would be in the best hands. Our dad grew to embrace each of you and melt you with his smile! When brought back from appointments, he would say, "we're home." Thank you for creating that atmosphere that Keystone was "home" to our parents. It is a testament to you to allow a resident's daughter to work on her father's floor. [Name removed], thank you for the opportunity to work with you. It enabled me to see my father during Covid 19 restrictions. It allowed me to appreciate you even more, knowing what consumes your day. My time there, gave more to me than I could of have imagined. I hope it was as rewarding for the residents as it was for me. The care you give every resident gave me comfort knowing my parents were placed in the best community.

I like everything about living at Keystone Villa. The meals are great and staff and residents are so friendly. I also love being able to walk into town.
My parents were very unsure at first. They adjusted quickly. I am very happy. I have peace of mind and comfort knowing they are well taken care of.

I toured this community for my parents. Everyone was so welcoming. All of the residents stopped to say hello and tell me how much they love living here. I am very excited for my Mom to visit.

My mother improved immensely both physically and mentally at Keystone. She regained the ability to write letters, use the phone, read the newspaper, and basically take care of herself.

We were really impressed with the community, and the director as well. They showed us quite a lot on the tour, and explained everything well. The location was favorable to where we live. Our only issue came down to personal preference - we just found them too big, without the cozy/homey feel we were looking for.
The community was to large for my loved ones' needs and the community didn't feel as homie as others in the area.
Response from Keystone Villa at Ephrata
April 9, 2021I'm sorry that we weren't a good fit for your loved one, but thank you for coming to see our community. As you know, Keystone Villa at Ephrata has three levels of care - Independent, Personal Care and Memory Care - so it can seem large. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where everyone feels like home. I'm sorry you didn't have that experience.
Wonderful staff, very responsive, caring. Clean and comfortable facility. Taking good care of my family member.

They have nurses and doctors on staff. I would recommend to go visit this community and have your loved ones attend this community. The memory care activities included: crafts to a recycle center and the family could attend any event with them. The residents even got to go see snow geese, and the staff would go on ice cream runs with the residents. The food was good according to my loved ones. In fact my loved one was able to gain weight since joining the community. This community only had 22 people on the memory care unit. The family choose this community for this great attribute. The family will have a fob provided by the community to allow for visits at anytime, this was prior to COVID.

A Place for Mom has scored Keystone Villa at Ephrata 9.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
