Our parents have been here a year and a half now and we love this for them. Dad, who is becoming forgetful, is safe and loves taking walks in the lobby and seeing people who know who he is. Even mom, who loves to criticize and complain, has come to admit she enjoys the activities and having meals and cleaning done for her. N and J are wonderful and always have a moment to say hi and answer questions/concerns. They put a lot of time and thought into actives and events like Halloween Costume party, hanging pictures of residents on the Veterans Wall and planning a Christmas Around the World display and holiday Cookie party..... My life at Independence Village is just what I needed at my time in life. I am 90 years old and still independent, but there is much help available when needed. The staff is excellent and [name removed], the manager, offers good guidance and new ideas, and also has an understanding of individual needs.
Such a joyful and marvelous place to live. Everyone is super warm and welcoming. The staff is outstanding. I will recommend this place to everyone that is looking for an independent retirement place and heartwarming people.
This community is first class. I would give it an "A" plus rating. It's the best I've ever toured or seen.
Administrators and workers at this community care about their people. Many activities for seniors which are interesting and interactional. Lovely, homey atmosphere and environment. They go beyond the ordinary to care for us here.
I am very pleased living at IVN and would recommend it to anyone interested. My wife (deceased) and I moved in and lived here for three years together. They have many activities and are very well managed. All of the help does a really good job.
