I’m so grateful for the excellent care my mother receives at Niagara Village! I’m confident her safety and well being have been their utmost priority during this unprecedented difficult time with COVID-19. The balance between safety and socialization is outstanding!

Niagara Village is very good with communicating and ensuring the residents get to know each other. They are also great about getting them out of their rooms and engaging them. The staff is very good with engaging the residents with things like activities. The price of care includes all meals and related care, which is a plus.

Niagara Village is so clean and attractive. Food is great and there are a lot of activities going on each day for the residents. Rooms are beautiful and well taken care of. My only concern is that there is no security or nobody to address concerns after the doors are locked at night. I guess I would feel better if there was a guard at the front door at night in case of a problem. Otherwise I think it is a wonderful facility!

Mom has been at the Niagara Village for several months now, and we have been really impressed with their entire operation. All the staff are friendly, helpful and gracious, they all seem to really take caring for the residents very seriously. The food is wonderful, the chef and his staff do a great job of making each meal attractive, flavorful and healthy. One of the best things about the Niagara is that family members are invited and encouraged to join the residents for meals whenever they can, and there is no charge to do so. That means I can pop in and have lunch with Mom whenever my schedule permits, and it's been really nice. The entire facility is beautiful, decorated attractively, clean and welcoming. The grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained, and there are plenty of places to walk and/or sit outside and enjoy the outdoors when weather permits. Entertainment is ongoing, with things to do pretty much every day. Outings are planned too and the residents can take advantage of the many opportunities to go places and do things around town. The bus is also at their disposal and it's very nice. Mom lived in another high-end senior living community where she paid a lot more for less, and she's very happy with everything that the Niagara Village has to offer - and especially the lower price! Thank you Niagara Village!

Beautiful facility. Warm environment with professional and caring staff. The studio apartment was perfect for my mom. The list of daily activities for the residents was exactly what we were looking for in a community for my very social mom. The pricing was very reasonable considering all the is included and the peace of mind we will get once mom is moved in there.

We were very impressed with this community and the staff was friendly and did a great job with our tour, they took their time showing us around and answering our questions. They offer a lot of different amenities to their residents, it's bright and open and deserves a tour to see for yourself.

CHEAP MEALS AND THE MANAGER NEEDS TO RETIRE. THEY FLEECE THE RESIDENTS BY SERVING CHICKEN AND FISH OR PORK EVERYDAY. THE CEO IS ONLY INTERESTED IN PROFIT TO MAKE THE SHAREHOLDERS HAPPY AND SHE CAN ENJOY HER HIGH SALARY. THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE LEGISLATION IN LAWS TO PROTECT SENIORS BUT SADLY THERE'S NOT AND THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY WANT.

April 25, 2017Hello Mary Levowitz, I'd like to take a moment to thank you for taking reaching out and providing us this feedback. We hold ourselves and each other to very high standards, and strive each day to go above and beyond for our seniors a nd their residents. If that isn't your experience, we would really like to hear from you so we can learn more about what your experience has been. Please, get in touch with us when you have the opportunity - we can be reached by email at [removed], or phone at [removed]. We really look forward to connecting with and hearing from you soon - thank you so much, and be well until then
The Staff is excellent! Pls keep them satisfied, as that is possibly the most important factor in a retirement facility. Thx! There have been a few instances when Mom needed a little extra TLC. Your staff has shine brightly on the occasions. Thank you again! One surprise at move in Was the the toilet. It was not appropriate for a senior ( too low). It is one of those immediately- needed retrofits that is hard to perform on moving day. For the price, it should be provided With the room. Thus far, the meals get excellent reviews. That is a very smart market ring, PR and retention decision. Nice job! Perhap the only dissappointment thus far was the original quote for rooms at Niagara. Our room was significantly higher when it became available. I think that needs to be more transparent for new prospects.

A Place for Mom has scored Holiday Niagara Village 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
