Heath Village has senior living houses or apartments for 55+. From there you can go to the next level of care which is Heath House or The Meadows. They recently built a brand new facility across the street called the Meadows. This is where they have rehabilitation and long term care such as memory. My aunt started about 5 years ago in an apartment and recently moved into Mayflower house for the next level. A nurse comes in 2x daily to take her vitals and anything she needs. They have a spa room where she is showered. You can have a walker or wheelchair in mayflower. You just have to be able to get dressed and go to a dining room. Heath village also has a gift shop, game rooms and a beautiful heated salt water pool on the campus. We love going to the pool. They have a pub with happy hour as well. My aunt also had a little job working in the gift shop. She loves that! I would recommend Heath Village. Staff is very nice and helpful. They even have an activities person so they get them out and about. They have bus trips to gardens, the mall and for those living in apartments they go to the grocery store too. They have a chapel for church as well. She is happy to be back.... Read more

Long term care facility is very bad. Always short handed. Constant turnover of CNA's. Poor activity schedule. Management is extremely poor. Show partiality to patients. Many patients not included in functions. Equipment frequently malfunctions. They are more concerned with looks than service and care.

Everything about it is first class...including the cost! If cost is not a factor than visit this place. It's fantastic!

I have found that everywhere you walk, the residents and the employees all say hello. People are always offering to help in any way. It is very clean and has the feeling of a nice hotel. There are so many activities and you can do as much as you want or as little as you want. The rooms are all clean and there is plenty of space and closets. I feel much more comfortable that my mother is close by, but still has her own space and she is not alone in a big house missing my dad. In just one week she has made a few friends and is being kept busy.

Has many excellent features.... like the individual/spread out campus and the independent life style that is available. Not ready to spend so much a year to leave what I have.

A Place for Mom has scored Heath Village 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
