The activities calendar is nicely organized with plenty of everyday elder activities for them to participate in. In the tour, she (nic pretty young woman married to co owner son )first impression and overall personality is what drove us towards our decision as she spoke so eloquently when describing the facility especially its importance in geriatric care and level of in depth explanation of residents plans for caring for patients, managers compassion and love to not just the residents but also the staffing as she praises them and their hard work crediting each individual person and position. The pricing of this facility does not justify the amount of hard work and honest dedication the staff as a whole has done and continues to do, it truly is more about the patients and the love they have for them rather than the cost. It is as if colonial manor at Panther valley is a hidden gem and I love that my mom will always be safe, loved and respected through her last section of life.

Colonial Manor at Panther Valley is a piece of heaven on earth. Reading some inaccurate reviews brings me to this true and honest review in which this facility deserves. It has been my mother’s home for the last few years and I am extremely grateful for the care and kindness this facility has provided. With my mother being in her 90’s she needs constant assistance and the staff has been nothing but amazing. With 24 hour care I can rest easy knowing my mom is in the best place she could possibly be. With moms emergency calls at 2am or 3pm the staff is there giving it their all. management is professional with constant communication within our family. [name removed] and [name removed] make a great management team, the nurses and aides truly look up to them. The kitchen is able to adhere to different dietary needs for diabetics or in my mom’s case different texture. The activities calendar is nicely organized with plenty of everyday elder activities for them to participate in.

They do not have 24 hour assistance. Staff is available til maybe 8pm, then they just have a line for emergencies after that. My dad complains that the food served is bland.

What our family likes the most about the Colonial Manor at Panther Valley is that it is all inclusive and the rooms they provide for the residents are a good size. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Wonderful facility overall. They have gained a lot of experience with higher quality medical care and it shows. Honestly I believe it’s due to the fact that the manager understands how to do the tours, explain and sell the rooms, and move new residents in.. and keeps up with each individual resident. Thank you for great professional medical care, for personal kindness, for always offering a helping hand, for all staff in all departments for being so informative, knowledgeable and willing to assist with happiness on top. The joy in the managers heart to care for the residents is so satisfying to witness. With such a positive attitude and hard work, this facility is truly one of a kind. The compassion behind the work of art taking care of the elders especially our mom is deserving of more than 5 stars. The manager gave us a magnificent tour years ago and has kept her word each waking day since. The nurse aides work so hard and diligent. We are beyond grateful for her and her staff. We recommend panther valley to our friends, work colleagues, families and more everyday. We find joy in all things of this facility. Dad loves it, he is very very well cared for, clean, safe, and distracted. Plenty of activities to do everyday. Independent living and transitioned into the assisted and still living here years later, with the help of her and her husband we found our father his forever home. Managers are always there, they are always on top of not just their residents, but the families as well. Easy communication with nicole, promised care, continued care, clean safe and busy environment for the elders- are just a few reasons why we chose colonial and will choose colonial over and over again. My uncle was a resident here for approximately a year. The facility appeared to be maintained well Residents appear well cared for and happy The staff quite pleasant & hardworking. However, the manager/owner was a nightmare to deal with. My uncle wasn’t consulted before being placed at Colonial by his daughter.and the location wasn’t convenient for family to visit often. My uncle wanted and needed to be closer to family so my cousin & I took over to start the transfer process. His daughter notified manager/owner we & the new facility would be reaching out. The next month 1/2 exchanged was extremely unsettling & baffling. Manager:/owner was nonresponsive initially, followed by being abrasive and uncooperative. My uncle spoke with her several times, , his daughter told her we would be in charge of his transfer & it was only when my emails threatened exposure & legal action that things changed. Thankfully he’s at a new facility, near family & HAPPY!

Managers live on the premises they offer independent living assisted living memory care palliative care hospice care, 24-hour full medical staff on premises registered nurses cna hha physician physical therapy podiatry pharmacy all services are available right inside the facility. Excellent staff, very very clean facility, top-notch elderly patient care, family-owned, operated, and oriented, nothing comparable, especially for the price. Diverse menu, many activities multiple throughout the day 7 days/week. There is not a thing they cannot nor have not done for their residents here. You want to see true compassion in the geriatric industry, this is the place. They go above and beyond and it shows each and every waking day.

Colonial Manor is an awesome place for your loved one that needs assistance. Staff is great, the establishment is clean and everyone cares about your loved ones and you don’t have to worry about your family member!

I cannot say enough about Nicole and her staff. [name removed] is kind, compassionate, caring and so much more. There really are no words to describe what she puts into Colonial Manor. Because of the person she is, she only has staff that mimic her qualities and the standards to which she runs the facility. My mother is a resident there. After interviewing with many other assistant living/independent living facilities, the choice was easy. My mother is taken care of with kindness. She isn’t just “another resident”. This is her home and these people are like family…and she is treated as such.

My mom has been a resident at Colonial Manor at Panther Valley since (Date Removed). My family and I are very grateful for the compassionate care and support that she is given. Starting with the receptionist at the front desk up to and including the manager, (Name Removed), all staff members we have dealt with have been friendly, courteous and kind. The manager (Name Removed) always responds quickly to my questions and concerns and resolves them right away. The facility is immaculate and very pretty and welcoming. It is a very home-like environment with plenty of activities for the residents. The weekly menu has good variety and lots of options. We are welcome to visit my mom anytime we want. We are so grateful to know that she is being cared for with dignity and respect by such caring people.

To have the chance of giving my parents a safe home (facility) to live at after they gave my siblings and I a safe home to live at is more than comforting and fulfilling, it’s having everyday happiness and peace. My mom fell and at 2am (Name Removed) sent her to the hospital where my mom caught covid. The ER doctor’s said given my moms heath history, age, etc she wouldn’t bounce back. At the hospital mom wouldn’t eat, drink, do therapy, she was so down.. The hospital called and wanted to release mom to rehab and I instantly called (Name Removed) on a late Saturday night and she always answers. She told me the truth about rehab lately after covid, which I will not state on here. Let’s just say she promised me she wouldn’t get better there, she set up a plan of care and had the hospital discharge mom back to Colonial Manor. Mom is still living there, alive happy and healthy. This is not about a special person but rather the person that makes a house a home.

We moved my mom here back in [year removed] and the facility has gone from good to great and even better. Their level of care has immensely increased [name removed] doesn’t have the heart to not help and or get the best help she can. Her staff is more than amazing. They are trustworthy, happy, confident and overly caring. The RN [name removed] has been there for a long time. We’ve had differences on small things but in the end we always agree. I personally have watched [name removed] grow from high school doing dishes, taking care of my mom, traveling for my mom, going to nurse school, CNA, aide work, nurse work, there’s nothing she can’t do- and she lives on premises. If you have any worry in the world, moving mom or dad into colonial manor at panther valley will only give you one less thing to worry about for the rest of their (moms) life. The facility has excellent management, maintenance, housekeepers, nurses, CNA’s, CMA,s resident aide, front desk associates. During covid, [name removed] kept my mom alive I’m grateful

We are very happy with Colonial Manor at Panther Valley. The facility is a little bigger and has more residents to interact with. From the area this facility is the most affordable and once we came to visit we were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was, how well kept it was, and how friendly the staff were. We have been so pleased with the quality of care he is receiving. I would call it a turn key place, everything is included in the monthly fee rather than things being add on costs like some others we saw. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others looking.

IL amenities are amazing for the price you pay per mo. Beautiful landscape 8 acres big pond w fountains gazebo that overlooks pond, and a nice smooth path for all residents in assisted / IL to go out for walks on, if you have a walker it is a flat path easy for elderly. Mom transitioned into assisted care after in IL for 5 years. She loves: one on one care, meals, the friends she has made, seeing the staff everyday brightens her up and they encourage her to go to all the activities. Mom had full access to all in-house activities in the main building which was included in her rent when she lived in IL. Managers are husband and wife. She is more outgoing has a huge heart an infectious laugh, special way with all her residents. Her husband is very kind, both on top of everything about their business. The care from nurses incredible, facility dr therapy onsite hair salon library Movie theatre activities room large banquet hall town transportation etc. Best decision we ever made.

This community is very nice homey, quaint and clean. Everyone is very friendly at this community. They also have activities like bingo, movie night, and people come in for entertainment in the community. They also have happy hour on Friday and wed and more for the residents to do. They also have transportation into town to do things around the community.
