The facility was always clean but housekeeping in the resident rooms was fair. The nursing staff was excellent. Some aides were great and some were awful. Very poorly staffed on weekends. The staff really tried to get them to participate in the activities. My parents were miserable there but it wasn't Paragons fault. They really tried to make it good for them. Nursing staff was very supportive during hospice.

It is a relatively small facility and therefore everyone knows our family. We appreciate the customized activities and staff members that care. We would recommend to others.

I have no issues with the organization and based on the experience we have had with Bentley Commons at Paragon Village, we would recommend this community to other families.

Her apartment smelled like urine and her toilet was always filthy. They let my mother fall in the shower. She broke her tibia and fibula. While in rehab, they said she would require more care than they could provide and did not let her come back. They offered to reimburse my mother some money because she wasn't in the facility more than she was. I thought that was very nice of them. However, they never did reimburse her.

I would highly recommend the facility to others. The staff is friendly and warm and very helpful. Communication has been good. The move-in process was wonderful. Everyone was very very helpful with getting him settled in. The food is better than we expected and is restaurant quality.

I would highly recommend it. It came down to cost and the overall number of beds in the facility. I like that it's on the lower number of beds and the longevity of the staff. Not a lot of turnover.

The overall appearance, the administrative staff and the nursing staff are things we like about the community. However, based on the experience we have had so far, we are not sure 100% if we would recommend this community to others - it depends on the circumstance.

When it comes to the activities our loved one has not tried them yet, but I am happy with what is offered. The kindness is just real! They honestly care. The cleanliness any time of the day is wonderful !

Our family had an in person tour with Bentley Commons and it was just way to expensive and it was not has nice as [community name removed] and had a terrible outside area. It was not going to the place for our loved one.
The staff is phenomenal! My mother in-law lives in the independent living building, but the staff checks the residents every day - especially if they don't make it to breakfast. They encourage participation in activities, they know the residents well. The facility is clean - my mother in-law's building was just renovated (main entry got new flooring and painted walls). Honestly, we are very pleased with how everything has turned out.

The staff and other residents were very warm and welcoming. The overall environment is extremely well kept and clean, and we were really surprised at how spacious the apartments are. Extra special programs and activities have been well done, and Dad has really enjoyed himself.

We picked this community, because of the proximit, and cost. The experience was disappointing, frustrating, emotionally draining, and deceptive. They can improve on communication! Meeting expectations which they had defined, and responsiveness.

The only thing is I wish they had transportation on the weekends so my loved one could go to church. Everything is really awesome. Everything is great. People are awesome.

I like that my dad sees familiar people each day who know his routine and they would notice if they didn't see him for a day or two. He gets social interaction and he is provided meals 2x / day. He has shuttle service available, lab testing in house, flu vaccines in house and lots of other conveniences. They could improve by offering lunch everyday, providing better variety of foods, I wish their was more ethnic diversity among the residents. I wish the neighborhood had sidewalks and there were more walkable conveniences like shopping.

My loved one is doing welll. The staff gets back to me, with phone calls/texts. Overall, the staff is pretty good, and very friendly. My loved one loves the breakfast, in which they offer them low sodium meals. Meal time is important. There is a lot of activities, and my loved one seems to enjoy them. My loved one is interacting with other people, and has made new friends. Overall, I am getting value for the money.

It's a great place for my family member and others due to the attentiveness of the staff. The folks who live there are very nice. It's a well run establishment. I haven't really had any issues with her apartment, the staff, or her meals. If they don't see her, they check in on her. When she stays with us overnight, they have her sign in and out so they know where she is. Living at Bentley Commons gives her the independence of living on her own, yet we still have the security that if something were to happen, they would be on it right away. I think it's a great value for all she receives.

I really liked Bentley Commons. The facility itself was very nice and beautiful. All of the staff members were nice and there were always staff around, but being my dads case he needed more 1 on 1 care that they were able to give him. In the memory care the staff would bring residents down to participate in activities and were encouraging. All of the people really were great. Unfortunately it just was not the right fit for us.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought the staff were terrific. We loved their nurse she was terrific. She spent a lot of one on one time with our loved one and she did a great first assessment. However it is an older facility and the rooms seemed extremely tight and small and there was no real good outside area, it was just a parking lot.
I would recommend this community for you or your loved one. They have activities like movie day, entertainment that comes in and more for the residents to do to stay busy. The tour was good and I was pleased and they gave me all the information I needed about this community.
