While assisting my grandmother at this facility it was horrifying. The staff here were so lazy and couldn’t answer any questions you had regarding times of showers times for activities nothing. Everyday when I would come in everyone would be on there phones in there worker room. You press the emergency button it would take them 30 minutes to get there. As much money as I spend for my family to be here and how worthless the staff and management is here is just awful. I pray for these elders that live here cause they are not getting the care or the love they need in there final years. I hope I can make a difference but I have noticed that every bad review gets taken down.

I am having an eating problem. Being a diabetic & heart A - no salt makes it hard. Most is hard for me to eat. Activities of exercise great. Laundry could improve - no iron. Maintenance a little slow in fixing things of importance. Response time could improve. We are doing fine. Nothing perfect, but room for improvement.

All of the staff in different departments care about the residents. They strive to work as a team to provide individual care specific to each resident. The administrator is easily accessible and promotes open communication to provide fun and supportive environment for the residents, families, and staff.

[name removed] and I share concerts all over the state of Michigan, and have been to Grand Village 3 or 4 times now. The residents are always fun to talk with, and they seem to really enjoy the concerts. The staff has always been really nice and helpful when we come there. We look forward to coming and sharing there many times in the future!

The tour experience with Grand Village was great! They did not take my loved ones level of care though. They knew they would not be able to care for her even without meeting her, so it was off the table.
Well maintained community. Spacious rooms. Caring and respectful staff willing to work with family to provide care. Residents are treated as family......all very welcoming and concerned for one another. It took a bit to learn to work with the system but we were guided through that by staff. Safety procedures necessitated having to be buzzed in and out of the building. Most times it was not a problem but certain times of day could be challenging if staff was tied up with tending to residents. Patience is a virtue. Meals and dining are times that our mom looked forward to. Table mates become friends. Lots of daily activities to keep people as busy as they choose to be. Family and friends are always welcome to participate as well.

We love this place. Staff is kind, respectful, and attentive. Food is plentiful and delicious. They even have a happy hour daily! (for those able.) Just like a real home. Plenty of activities and exercise too.

Because our caregivers' first priority is the safety and care of our residents, there sometimes may be a delay in answering the door. Our family had an in person tour, with this being one of three communities we looked at overall we had a good tour experience.
