Grace Brethren Village

The community is a nice place, and my dad is safe and happy. The staff is very nice and I would recommend this community to others.

Nice place, I like the cottages and the space.

[Name removed] made us feel very welcome. This facility could possibly meet our needs, but no cottages were available for us. I would consider returning for additional information once we are ready to make a move and if they have a cottage available.

There is such a sense of community and family. Staff is outstanding in caring for us in the cottages. The nursing home staff is top notch too. The residents are very friendly and GBV is such a home like place.

Grace Brethren Village has such a friendly and caring staff. [Names removed], all maintenance is here to help you. I never feel that I'm putting anyone out. I also feel very safe here. I can keep my windows open.

I like that I don't have to worry about any house problem in my cottage. All I have to do is call the front desk and maintenance takes care of everything. Also, everyone is friendly here. I really like my neighbors and the activities. I'm not afraid anymore.

GBV is well-kept. It's nice to be here and it's quiet. I really like the fact that maintenance takes care of things when they need to be taken care of or fixed.

What I like most about Grace Brethren Village is the friendliness. People here help each other. I really enjoy the activities that go on and I'm thankful to be here

The girls in administration are on the ball. I feel safe here too. They have great activities but you aren't forced to participate. Grace Brethren Village is true to their word. [Name removed] told me the way things are before I moved in and it was all true. I am very happy here.

It seems like staff are on call at anytime we need them. We had a clogged drain and the maintenance director, Eddie, came over immediately to take care of it. We did not have to wait. Any request is met. We really like living at Grace Brethren Village.

I like life at Grace Brethren Village. I had a need and moved in. There are many activities and a monthly calendar handed out to keep things straight. We experience such kind care in a Christian atmosphere.

Dear Grace Brethren, Thank you your service to the community of senior citizens. My Dad, [removed], now lives with you. We are pleased and grateful for the care he gets. The staff has a caring attitude, and we like the home-like Christian environment.

I had many years to decide on a place to live in my "sunset" years. Grace Brethren Village thought of everything! This "continuing care community" has 47+ years to prove it and their awards speak volumes. I love living here. The spiritual influence felt here affects everything. You own it to yourself to check this place out. They offer a retirement plan you can really live with .

Grace Brethren Village has a kind and compassionate attitude that they always conveyed to our mother and our family. Mother was truly happy in her cozy cottage and they helped make it happen. We could not have asked for anything more or better for her in her last years. They provide a fine quality service to the older population.

Words just cannot express the gratitude that our family has for each and everyone of you at Grace Brethren Village for taking care of mom these last 4 years. We feel so lucky to have placed her in your loving care. We always knew she was taken care of and treated like family there. The special things that the aides as well as the kitchen staff and the nurses did to make mom happy were above and beyond our expectations. Thank you all so much!

Making the transition of a parent from a home they've loved into a continual care community, even if it's still independent living, can be tough. Julie helped us with the entire transition experience, not just the typical show and tell and financial discussion. From having to deal with a future resident and two different children in three different areas of the US, she was there to answer any question and to ensure that the entire process went smoothly. The community truly seems to be exactly that - a community - and they seem to bend over backwards to go above and beyond for their members.

My sister, brother and I, and our families wish to thank you. Your facility is absolutely the best in caring for seniors. We appreciate the care you gave our dad for serval months. May God bless all of you.

The staff are really nice, sweet and always has time to talk. They know everyone's name and it is a friendly atmosphere. The community is clean and well maintained. My in laws have not complained about the food. They offer a variety of activities and I would recommend this community.

Hi Heather... In regards to our visit to Grace Brethren and Friendship Village... we absolutely loved Grace Brethren and liked Friendship Village. Since weve been home we have been praying for guidance and thats where were at. We are leaning toward Grace Brethren but are still talking about it... weighing all of our options. Of course my Mom is in the equation as well so we have a lot to think about. We plan on returning to Grace Brethren for answers to more questions and to give the cottages a second look.
