Garden Estates of Corpus Christi

They are working on keeping things moving smoothly hard to keep employees. Yes I would recommend this community to other families. Overall we love them and the staff love and care for my parents well we are blessed

The facility and staff are both really great, the value for the money is the best for all of the facilities I have looked into. My wife has a nice, large sized room in assisted living.

I would give all 5's except a 4 for meals. Garden Estates was the best place for her. Everyone was very nice to her and for the last few months she had extra help from [name removed] group at Garden Estates. She passed away a year ago. I would highly recommend Garden Estates.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was great. The staff communicated with the family about any concerns and told me about activities that my mother enjoyed. I would definitely recommend this facility. I would have kept her there, but my mother's needs required memory care which was not available at this facility.

I would say that they've kept their word on any representations made when we first interviewed. I picked them for most services for best cost. I would recommend I would add that my grandmother and aunt say everyone is so nice.

[name removed] the Director, [name removed], and [name removed] are amazing people. The love and care for their residents shows. I dont worry about my father I know he is well taken care of. I am so greatful to the staff. [name removed] and her staff are angels.

My brother was a resident at this facility last year. His family was very pleased with the competent, and caring staff there. So, when it came time to find a place for my sister a few months ago...the obvious choice was Garden Estates! I live on the East Coast, but have spoken with the Sales Marketing Director, and my sister's Care Takers' Supervisor. They both have been very professional, courteous, and have literally bent over backwards to make her transition there a smooth one. My sister seems to be adjusting well, and loves the entire staff...from the top to the custodial staff. If you're looking for a caring place for your loved one, please check them out. This facility is very nice. It's the right place for my mother to be. Housekeeping is often and they do a good job. Communication with the family is good. The food is good quality and they have a good variety. I think they have a genuine concern for the residents and care for them well here. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Right away what stood out to us about Garden Estates was the people, they are just very very excellent and really friendly. Our loved one did not really participate in the activities but they have a ton of different things to offer for the residents. We do think it is a really good value for the money and based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

As far I know, she is being taken care of really well at Garden Estates of Corpus Christi. I do think the price is a bit high.

They were such a blessing to us. It felt comfortable and home like when I first walked in for the tour. The staff were very good about answering our initial questions. They are always willing to help. The staff are also good at checking on the residents. They are understanding of the residents and families. You can tell they really care. The nice thing is they made my loved one feel comfortable from the start. The selection of food could be improved. There is an always menu, the residents can order off of if they don't like what is being served.

We chose Garden Estates of Corpus Christi because the director was extremely helpful and friendly. The room that she was able to get was also beautiful. Towards the end, the staff to resident ratio was low which started to affect the quality of care. I would recommend, just make sure main communication is with [name removed].

I would tell others that it is an excellent community. The staff are knowledgeable, and caring. The staff keep the families informed on their loved ones. If there is an issue, the staff call immediately and let the family know and handle the situation promptly.

We chose Garden Estates because they offered me the ability to have both of my parents at the facility. The apartment sizes are just fine, they have a one bedroom. We ate here before COVID and the food was fabulous. They give you large portion sizes and everybody cleans their plate. They have deserts for after dinner and they are very good. They have just opened the dining room. My favorite part about the community so far would be how they are handling COVID, they have been phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend the facility and already have.

NICE CARING PEOPLE AND GREAT TOUR

We were initially so pleased with Garden Estates. From the front desk to the dining hall staff to the custodians, everyone was very welcoming. At the time that my mother signed the facility contracts, we were told that we needed to use aides from the Garden Estates List because they had all been thoroughly vetted and approved for the care of residents. Her weekly aid was phenomenal! We were so pleased with her care. However, after a couple of falls, we needed Sunday and night time care for her. We used a caregiver and her staff from the 'vetted' list. The aides were poorly trained. When Mom fail and broke her arm, she was pulled off the ground, put in her recliner, and left alone. I was not informed of the incident and found out by reading their care journal. I brought this matter to the attention of the director. Obviously, she did not take it seriously. I had to return several times to remove Mom's belongings. The same aide and her staff are still working there. I just hope that another resident is not injured by their lack of competence.

All the staff was great and professional and very caring, Mr. [name removed] who was giving us the tour was very caring and understanding. We were so happy with him. Mom enjoys the food and is getting stronger since being there. Thank you Garden Estates.

I feel good about my decision for choosing this community. It is a nice clean building in a nice area. The staff is very nice he knows all of their names and they know him. He is happy here and the food is good and they get 3 meals a day. They clean for him on Tuesdays. He has a friend that will come and help him do his laundry and if he didn't want to do it all he needs to do is pay a little extra. He wanted out of Dallas and we are very happy with this community. I would recommend this place.

I live at Garden Estates and I can tell you first hand that if any problem arises at the facility that might effect the residence you can bet that the first thought is to favor the company and to [Removed] with the customers. The only plus for the facility is their rooms presently the food is of the poorest quality.
