My loved one was previously a resident at Edgewood Point Assisted Living and Memory Care and the experience there was great for her. My loved one loved it there and they took really good care of her. The staff was caring and went above what was asked. They could do a better job of keeping the bathroom clean. While my loved one was there, they lost the cleaning staff and expected the caring staff to do the cleaning. They didn't have time to do both. I would not recommend this facility for Alzheimer patients. The only person that seemed qualified was the activity director. Housekeeping was okay. Communication was okay. Move in was great, after that it was down hill. Meals were excellent. If they are going to take Alzheimer patients, they need big time improvements. If they just have patients that need regular help, they would be great.

Edgewood Point Assisted Living and Memory Care is a smaller facility, that makes it more like a family . The staff are very friendly and have communicated well with us. The facility is always clean. I go and visit my mom a couple of times a week and it has always been clean. When I have been there at meal time, the meals have been good. Yesterday they had crab cakes , mixed vegetables, rice and a roll for lunch and it was very good. The staff always checks with us when we are there to make sure things are okay and to see if we have any questions or things that we want to discuss. The Activities Director is awesome, she really engages the residents and always has something going on for them. She is a big part of why we chose to put mom here. She really cares about her job and has a passion to help the residents. I would recommend this facility to others.

For our area it's really good. We picked this community, because of the longevity of the staff, smaller community, and we were impressed with the staff and activiites. They offer graduated living care, such as memory care. I would recommend to other families.

The tour was intriguing. The energy level here was low which was to be expected since it is assisted living and memory care residents. My loved one just needed a place that was more upbeat and active.

I was very impressed with the care services that were provided. The interaction with the staff is excellent. They offer a lot of activities. It seemed more alive, residents were out and about, it was alot of staff around, and they always seemed to interact with the residents. it was friendly atomosphere. Also, the staff is very compasionate towards the residents.

We chose Edgewood Point because we found our loved one really needed memory care and they offer that here. It came recommended to us as well. I really liked [name removed] who we worked with in the beginning. He has been very pleased with the food. I would recommend them to others looking for memory care.

Edgewood Point didn’t appear to be as hands-on and efficient as another place we toured. And I didn't feel that their buildings were as clean and sanitized, which was important to me during Covid times.

The tour guides were awesome. The other community that we went to seemed to be interacting more with the community. It was a nice and clean community there was just another community that stood out more.

The helpfulness of the staff members could be improved as well as the care services. We aren't sure if we were expecting more but it does not seem like much actual care is going on there. The meals are about middle of the road. The value for cost seems on par with other communities in the area, but underwhelming for the services being offered.

The dining room is back to being open and the activities are opened as well. However, this community would use some improvement with their staffing, they have had a lot of turnover rates recently. They also do not do a good job communicating with the residents or their families, and the level of medical assistance they provide is not where it should be.
