Coral Harbor's care for the patient's welfare and their empathy has been phenomenal. The brightness and upbeat atmosphere, is great. Due to the medical issues my daughter has, she can't always participate in therapy. They have been very understanding and able to accommodate her good days and bad days with the therapy schedule. Their responsiveness to special patient requests seems to be a little on the slow side, such as with using the call button. It likely is because they don't have enough staff to respond right away to all needs. They are incredibly friendly and with the administration team, communication is phenomenal.

The physical therapy has been very good at Coral Harbor. They could be administrating medications a lot better, that's the primary issue we have right now. My loved one is not very happy with the food.

My loved one is cooperating well with the therapy services. There were a few concerns with the nursing care. We talked to the nursing supervisor and they addressed our concerns. The meals were very good. The whole staff needs to improve with communication.

The staff has built the confidence that my dad is being well taken care of. Communication has been great all day! They keep us notified and updated as family members.

The staff takes care of whatever needs that come up for my loved one. They scheduled transportation for her appointments. I have not observed the therapy but she said they are helping her out. It is hospital food and it is fine with no complaints. They have been on top of it with communication. Whoever is on staff, calls me with updates.

Overall it has been good. The therapy has been excellent! They are doing housekeeping and the staff is not rude. I really do not like to complain but there have been a few minor concerns. When he was transferred from the hospital his clothes were lost. There is a little room for improvement with the care. My dad asked for a blanket and I know that it took a couple of hours before he received it. The meals are good.

My mom likes the therapy. The therapists are very, very nice and they help her. She stood up today, so she is making progress which is great to see. During the week, the care is great overall but over the weekend it drops. The staff on the weekend is not as responsive. The cleanliness of the facility seems okay but my mothers' room needs more attention. Like today, my mother's room was a mess. The nurse came in today and while she was in, she emptied the garbage because my mother's garbage had not been touched. The cleanliness needs to improve. The communication is good. We do have a meeting on Tuesday and they called me before to schedule this so that was good. When I ask them questions they are good about giving me information back. We are still waiting to see the doctor it has been a week and she has not seen him.

They keep it very clean. My grandmother loves the meals! There is an issue with responsiveness with the nursing assistants. I am not sure why but there is a difference between the registered nurses and the aides.

The physical therapy was very good. I was not satisfied with the nurses, some were good and some were lackadaisical. They wouldn't answer the questions right away. I was not getting food that fits my dietary restrictions.

It is still early but so far everything has gone well with Coral Harbor and we are satisfied with my loved one's care. The staff is really friendly and everybody is really upbeat. The meals are okay. We are in the midst right now in terms of the communication. It seems like if they do what has been said will be done everything should go smoothly. So far, they are reaching out and seem to really understand our needs and seem to be willing and able to address them.

The therapists push my loved one and I'm grateful for that. He's walking quite a few steps. I wouldn't brag about the meals, but it's alright.

The staff as a whole is very friendly and always ready to answer any questions. The meals were terrible....terrible! My loved one expected more therapy for what she was paying. There was no therapy available Saturday/Sunday

The therapists are pretty good. My loved one is almost back to where she'd been before. When she calls for help, they're there. She's on a special diet, and they were giving her food she wasn't supposed to eat. We talked to them about it and are hoping they've fixed it. I just don't like that the things we needed a meeting for, we had tried to talk to the aides to get in touch with the nurse to get in touch with the doctor, but no one could get in touch with each other. There are a couple of issues with her meals and medication times. We've had a meeting with them and hopefully, they've worked on that and fixed it.

My father said the nurses are being nasty and yelled at him for pressing the call light too many times at night. He asked for socks and it has taken a long time for him to get them and there was an issue with his medications. It is clean on the second but not as modern as the first floor. It seems like he is eating the meals and he is one to complain about his food so that is good. The day he got moved upstairs I spoke to his new nurse and she seemed to pass the buck off claiming that something should have been done by the first-floor nurse.

My husband is supposed to be on a healthy diet, and they send him food that doesn't fit his diet. I've talked to the dietitian, and nothing seems to have been done. I think someone should talk to me more often, and they're not. There are some really good staff members and there are others that are not good.

I've called and made complaints and tried to get updates. I was told I'd get a call back, and I never got a call back.

A Place for Mom has scored Coral Harbor Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
