Our loved one has since based but during her stay at Concord Place it was a wonderful experience. Being on the memory care side she received so much individual attention and care. The program director [name removed] was worth his weight in gold, if he saw our loved one was stressing out he would take her away, redirect her and calm her down. When our loved one was on hospice at the hospital the director of residents came to the hospital to check in. The staff were all extremely passionate and all around it was a great experience.... Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience but it was just not going to be the best fit for our loved one. The main thing we did not like was the location - it feels like your in an industrial park and when you look out the windows you see parking lots and factory buildings. The surrounding's were just not very plesant.
This community was nice but wouldn't take my loved one at the level of they were at, at that time. My loved one needed a two person transfers, etc.
Response from Concord Park
April 24, 2023I'm so glad you had a good experience touring our community. I want to clarify that we do in fact provide two-person transfers as a service, if that need is determined by a resident's care plan. I encourage you to reach back out to us if you are still in need of a supportive living environment - we will be happy to meet with you!
Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice experience, the regular part of the community looked great but the memory care side where our loved one would of stayed was under construction so it was a bit messy. However we are sure that it is completely finished by now
5 stars for everything. Food is great, they are supportive, she is really happy there, they work w you, great place

I did not like this location of this community because it was near the train station. it gave me a little concern with safety. The community was very helpful during the tour as much info as i needed.
Response from Concord Park
July 13, 2022We completely understand your concern, and we know that safety is a very important consideration when looking at an Assisted Living or Memory Support community. We can assure you that Concord Park residents are in the great hands of our well trained staff, who are highly committed to their health and well-being. We also view our proximity to the West Concord train station as a positive, allowing residents the flexibility of traveling into Boston to attend events, see family and friends, go to special restaurants of their choosing, etc. It also provides a convenient mode of transportation for visiting family and friends.
The community is very clean, and our loved one seems to really like the meals just fine. The activities are just starting to open back up. One thing we really like about this community is the location, its right next to a nice shopping area.

Your first hand experiences really help others. Thanks! Facility is great, personnel is excellent, food is good, great activities. Overall a great experience till the money ran out. We were promised at move in that this would never be an issue, yet it was. We were told when money ran out, rent would be adjusted, that did not happen, instead rent was raised several times. Then threatened with a law suit regarding payment for one month.

But not for Dad.... Imagine a dining room with a hundred women's nonstop chatter about 'their day' while four or five men dine alone. Or the nightly movie 'entertainment' consists of a never-ending series of 1940 era musicals, 'Gidget' movies or (shudder..) Barbara Streisand. Two years in captivity one single movie I could stomach (Black Beauty). The staff are polite, helpful and dependable and the food is adequate at best.

The people here are so nice. It's been very good for me during this time in my life. They do a very good job of taking care of us. I went on the shopping trips a couple times. It was nice they offer the service and the driver [Removed] is a very nice guy, I like him. I have no criticism or bad things to say about the place, they are very good to me.
