Since finding Columbia Ridge for my father, almost a year ago, we couldn’t be happier with his care, and the feeling of family they provide. He was very hesitant at first, but has settled right in and made many friends. I could name a multitude of people from caregivers, to administration, front desk staff, dining, staff, cleaning staff, etc but it would take me all day to name them all. Each and every one of them has touched our lives in a special way. As the daughter of someone in this facility, I really appreciate the activities, attention to detail, special events, and overall care. Columbia Ridge Assisted Living welcomes seniors age 62+ to a secluded residential neighborhood that's filled with beautiful scenic views. The community is located in Washougal, Washington, near the border of Washington and Oregon.
Residents at Columbia Ridge Assisted Living live in spacious living accommodations while receiving quality care. The community offers long-term and short-term stays, where residents live privately in a studio or one-bedroom apartment. These are accessible living spaces with roll-in showers. To help create a safe environment, emergency call systems are implemented throughout the community. Additionally, caregivers provide quality care around the clock that can be personalized with individualized services, but additional charges may apply. If further care is needed, residents can easily attend local medical appointments with on-site transportation services available.
In addition convenient services, the community encourages socialization with various activities and amenities. There is something for everyone at Columbia Ridge Assisted Living, whether residents participate in clubs or daily events. Common pastimes include walking club meetings, community outings, movie nights, arts and crafts, discussions, exercises, and more. The staff at Columbia Ridge Assisted Living is very friendly and kind and helpful. The food is excellent and the dining area is always clean and inviting. This was an excellent choice for me.??

I really like the fact that the staff checks on the residents to make sure they're getting their meals and everything that they need. The place is very clean at all times, they do a good job at maintaining it clean as well. They always make sure that the residents are involved in activities and interacting with each other.

Our first impression was great. As we talked with the Director & toured the facility, we became even more impressed. Every single person we've encountered, be it staff or resident, has been smiling & friendly. All staff personnel seem to take great care in taking care of residents & visitors. We ate lunch a couple times with our mom & the food is great. Mom often says the food is quite good & "they take really good care of me here".
