Most of the care staff are very kind, professional, courteous caring and helpful. The executive staff has been responsive when I have had challenges or questions and concerns. They need healthier higher quality meals. My mom was at the manor desert ridge before she passed last month and their meals were incredible. Their chef believes that food is medicine. May be able to learn something there. Example at Clearwater: I eat with my father sometimes and you ordered a slice of pizza and by appearance It looked like Totino's frozen pizza with a stiff crust and cubed meat. Response from Clearwater Pinnacle Peak
January 19, 2024Thank you for your positive review of Clearwater Pinnacle Peak, Carolyn. We appreciate your kind words about our wonderful team members, and we are so glad to hear your brother is happy at our community.
We chose Cleawater Pinnacle Peak over others we saw because it was very clean, the staff were friendly, and we got to try the food during the tour and it was good as well. The staff have been very personal and supportive. They made the whole transition easy. I would recommend Clearwater Pinnacle Peak to others looking.

Response from Clearwater Pinnacle Peak
May 11, 2023Thank you for your recommendation of Clearwater Pinnacle Peak. We appreciate the positive feedback about your culinary experience. One of Clearwater’s core values is to serve with passion, so it is wonderful to hear that our kind and supportive staff have made this transition easy for you.
This assisted living facility has a "Memory Care" that is completely incapable of taking care of individuals who have progressive diseases like Parkinson's, dementia, Alzheimer's, etc. Do not believe them when they say they offer "24 hour care" to these individuals. They do not. At the very MOST they check in on them in their rooms every 2 hours. There are only 2 caregivers on each floor and 1 floater. Our loved one was made to stand up to toilet when he was unable to so they would leave him to urinate and defecate in his diaper. Some of the caregivers were very kind and patient but some were annoyed and impatient. They would sit around on their phones on the couch in front of the TV instead of spending all their time tending to the patients. They often seemed annoyed or disgruntled if you interrupted them to help a loved one with toileting etc. We were also told we could put cameras in our loved ones room when we toured the facility. This was a complete lie.

This community was nice. This community was a little too big for my loved one we felt.
LivGenerations community is beautiful and clean, and everyone is very friendly. The care from the care givers is spot on There are plenty of activities for the residents to participate in. The meals and dining is very good, and our loved one is happy there.

I have lived here for almost a year and a half and I would not recommend this place. I don’t plan on moving only due to its location and pet friendly environment but the management is extremely poor. Considering the cost and the statements of how well their facility and dining are, I have to disagree. Both the caregiving and food quality has been a continual disappointment. I have met multiple times with upper management and found that they pretend to care and encourage feedback but ultimately do nothing to correct or improve any complaints. Yes, this pandemic has been very difficult for senior communities but their ability to adjust to the situation’s have been negligible. Additionally, the way they treat their employees is totally unacceptable and really the main reason for their turnover.

Before COVID we were absolutely thrilled it is a lovely place, and the administrator was so nice, and given the circumstances everyone really did the best they could. Once COVID hit there was only a few confirmed cases, but the residents were confined to the rooms which we did not think was emotionally healthy for our loved one. While our loved one was there he really enjoyed visiting with all the people.

My mom chose Generations at Pinnacle Peak because they had a ton of great activities for the residents to participate in. Since COVID, she has not been able to participate in as much as she would like to. The facility was also fairly new so it was almost like walking into a resort, very nice and open with friendly staff members. I would recommend.

This community seems to be better than average. I visited a number of communities and this was one of the better ones. We have been happy with her there. She says the food is pretty good and they offer a variety. We chose this because of its location, it is close to our family and it is in a nicer part of town. Her apartment is spacious enough for her. I would recommend this community to other families.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Virtual tour was great. Amazing amenities - dining, fitness, pool, beautiful apartments with great quality and spacious kitchen. Perfect size for my mother-in-law. Just an amazing facility and affordable given all the options there.

It is a lovely facility. It is hard because of the changes with Covid-19. Food is okay, we expected little more. It has a functional layout. Just like anything you really have to look around and in the end there are still good and bad aspects. They have lovely but outdoor space but is rarely used by the residents for activities.

A Place for Mom has scored Clearwater Pinnacle Peak 7.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
