I would NEVER recommend Caswell House to ANYONE. Here is why: -Harsh interactions with residents (including screaming) -Holding patients down in chairs -Rough with personal care Anyone looking into this facility needs to do their homework and check the state site - that is for any facility.

My mother was there for a couple years and if I did not live close enough to stay on top of things I would never place a loved one there. Very dirty, understaffed, poor management, not taken care of. I had to clean my mothers room and clothes and thank goodness for Hospice to keep her clean. The State has investigated and agreed. The facilities owners were notified numerous times and nothing done. Money was also miss managed. This is all first hand dealings. Other facilities owned by this group may be good but this facility is not.

This facility is fantastic! From what I saw, the facility was clean. The staff and residents seem very friendly. Though they didn't cater to my loved one's specific needs, as far as location, I would recommend this facility!

A Place for Mom has scored Caswell House 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
