We loved working with the staff, but would've liked things like being able to receive assistance to use his CPAP. With as much as we were paying, reminding him to put it on and turning on the machine once he was in bed didn't seem too much to ask. The facilities are absolutely beautiful, the staff was wonderful and caring and we really enjoyed working with the memory care director. Had our mom not already registered and put money down, we may have done more digging into facilities for him that would accommodate his medical needs. It took a long time to get his meds sorted out.

We picked this community, because my loved one walked in and it felt homey. They could improve on the cleaning, and housekeeping could be better trained. It's a good place, and my loved one likes it. I would recommend to other families.

My loved one is doing really well. The girls who take care of her are great - they do a really good job. I highly recommend their memory care unit. They had an outbreak of Covid that they handled well. [name removed] , the activities director always has something going on. [name removed]and the other girls - you can tell the residents love them, because whenever the caregivers do something for them, the residents hug them and say thank you. If it's a 5-star scale, I give them 10. I would highly, highly recommend Cascades.
I toured this community and it seemed pretty nice. Everyone was friendly. It was just a more independent type of facility than we were looking for.
The staff members are great. The placement of cable outlets, food quality, and larger portions could be considered

They were great.
My sister moved into Cascades in [date removed] She made this decision after spending 2 weeks there for Respite Care while I was out of town. She raved about all the activities, great people, and good food. She had faced many health challenges and was happy to get the support she needed to have a full life again. She has a wonderful apartment, a busy life, and many friends. She receives the assistance she needs from excellent caretakers. Any maintenance issues are taken care of quickly and efficiently. The Management is very open and honest and holds regular "town hall" meetings to address concerns, answer questions, and share information. The atmosphere of Cascades is friendly, caring, and inviting. Great place!

We chose Cascades of Tucson because they were the only ones that had the space availability and set up that we were looking for. Overall it has been a good experience and we would recommend the facility to other families.

I highly recommend Cascades of Tucson. My folks have been there for 5 years & I’ve observed their care over time. The management/staff are friendly, sincere, approachable & responsive. If we have a need, Cascades listens & responds. The daily operations are well thought-out, giving support, consistency & freedom to residents, while keeping them well cared for. The attention/protection given them during the worst of COVId was remarkable! Science-based rules/procedures for staff/residents were instituted/strictly maintained, reducing the virus’ spread. Cascades worked with national/state officials/departments to ensure residents received tests, vaccines/boosters asap. This was communicated to residents’ families clearly thru frequent emails. Knowing my parents are in a safe, clean & loving home means a lot since I live far away. No home is perfect but Cascades comes close with management/staff making up any difference with care & responsiveness. I’m forever grateful & HIGHLY recommend!

I know many senior care facilities do the bare minimum required for the job and I’m sure there are more negative experiences than that. Not at Cascades. My mom has been living here for 4 years and in that time period I never heard or saw anything but caring professionals. In that amount of time and the many visits I’ve had I’m sure I’d have noticed something. Mom would still be living here but due to a thieves work she can no longer able to pay the bill. When I explained to [name removed] and [name removed] what happened they waived the 30 day moving rule. That was big help and I thank them. I can think of no finer facility to entrust your loved ones to.

Over the years it has been a pleasure for my mother to live at Cascades. She receives great care, healthy food, good and continuous interaction with staff and other residents. She enjoys the experience that Cascades offers. She enjoys the activities and friendliness of staff and her newfound friends. The activities offered keep her attention and the security is above average. Staff are incredible and extremely polite and friendly. Their attention to assisted living residents is above average. The atmosphere is one of peace and tranquility. Respectfully quiet for residents, staff and visitors. My mom has a little companion named Toby. Everyone loves Toby and he is more than happy to receive and return the sentiment (he only growls at me). Well done Cascades of Tucson! An overall rating for my family would be all "Five Stars" for all categories as listed in the survey.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience but for us it just did not feel like home
Some of the staff members were absolutely fantastic when it came to caring for our loved one - we did have some problems with a few others, and sometimes we had issues with them bringing the meals on time. However when our loved one wanted specific snack items they would bring them on time. Our loved one did enjoy bingo and even though the value was a little bit high it did give us that peace of mind.

The tour we had with Cascades was wonderful, there was nothing negative to say. The only reason we did not choose this facility was because the layout of the room was not going to work out well for her, the bathroom was a little too far away from the bedroom.
Cascades of Tucson seemed like a very nice facility. The only downfall was the location was too far away from our family.
Cascades is a wonderful and inviting community! We toured the Memory Care side, it was a great tour. The staff and Director [name removed] were very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Cascades!

Liked the atmosphere, not over bearing or pretentious, residents seemed friendly and content. Liked the simple floorplan. Would be hard to get lost here. Every staff member smiled at us and greeted us. Facilities were very clean even in the midst of room refurbishing, there was no mess. Was a little surprised that the dining room couldn't serve my salmon without the bleu cheese but realized they must need to prepare it ahead of time. In general food was okay had alternatives to choose from, but dinner ended at 6:30 PM, is that a little too early? My first tour so I'm not sure. Think this would be a nice place for Mom and Dad. Is on my short list, will probably be bringing them back for a second tour.
