I am 88 years old. I needed a safe place to be as I age and need more and more assistance with daily living. I found Capistrano Senior Living to be exactly what I was looking for. The staff is caring, thoughtful, and well trained. Safety in all areas is a primary concern and the staff is diligent in their care of us. The big surprise was what a wonderful community this is of residents. They are careful and considerate, helpful in small ways, friendly and loving. This is ,more like a community or, even better, a large loving family. I feel so fortunate to have found a home here, and my family tells me I am a much happier, healthier person since I have been here.

My loved one was previously a resident at Capistrano Senior Living and everything about the experience for my loved one here was great. They do a very good job in very difficult and often tragic circumstances. I would recommend this facility to others.

What our family likes the most about the Capistrano Senior Living community are the private rooms that are available for the residents. They also have a good team of staff working there. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My cousins has been treated quite well during her stay at Capistrano Senior Living Community, the people that are working there are friendly.

It is difficult to anticipate the changes that your loved one will experience. There is a time that it takes for them to meet people and feel like this is a place they belong. The food is bland and soft, but overall a safe place for them to be looked after! Would recommend.

We picked becasue it was the only community that agreed to a ten day stay. It was acessible, cloes to home, and it was a nice area, with nice rooms. They did a good job of taking care of my loved one. I would take my loved one back here, if I needed to.

We're very pleased with them overall. The staff are all very nice. They seem to be short-handed because sometimes they don't follow through with things, or when my loved one pushes her call button, they don't show up immediately. Usually it has to do with taking her dog out, which she pays an extra fee for, so it's okay. But had she fallen or something of that nature, that would be an issue. Also, service in the dinging room is lacking. At times, they don't get the right meals to the right resident. Some of the food is really good; some is really bad. They've admitted they've had some problems with staffing due to the pandemic, so hopefully that will even out over time. Again, the staff are really nice. It's just follow-though that's lacking. The grounds are well kept up. The place is clean and really nice. Overall we're pleased, and they're definitely trying. It's kind of pricey. If the follow-through and all the extras she pays for were a little better, the value would be better. But her apartment is really nice, and overall she's content there.

Capistrano Sr. Living has it all - amenities within your budget. Concerned competent staff, activities director [name removed] like no other sings, plays guitar - holiday parties. New chef. No need to look any further.

What a wonderful atmosphere & environment for US. This place is AMAZING!! The staff & group activity leaders include everyone with such JOY!!! Professionalism as well as cleanliness shines above all others. My BFF is so well cared for it’s a pleasure to visit her & her pet … Thank you thank you

Our first impression of this community was very good, and from what we could tell the community itself was kept pretty clean. We thought the rooms they provided for the residents were fine.

We chose Brookdale San Juan Capistrano because it was definitely more cost friendly and I really liked the introduction, we met with the sales guy and he was very helpful and I connected with him and liked him a lot. The room sizes here are great, definitely big enough. I have not eaten here but heard that the food is fantastic. I would definitely recommend to others.

We toured this community and the staff was helpful and answered all of my questions. The skilled nursing was adequate and it was clean. I would recommend families tour this community before they choose a place.

I toured the community and it didn't seem as upgraded as I had hoped for. I am glad that I found A Place For Mom to help find a community.

This is a very nice community. The interior is very bright and clean very well maintained. The offer different levels of care so if you need memory care you can stay on the property and move to another wing. The staff is friendly and very nice.

I stopped by for a visit and the community looked fine for what we needed but we didn't get a friendly feeling. The atmosphere was different and we found a community that was very welcoming and friendly.

My mother was only at the Brookdale San Juan Capistrano for a short time before she passed away but while she was there she felt very comfortable and the staff was very helpful, friendly and easy to communicate with. The dining area was very nice and the food was great since my mom was a picky eater it was great hearing her talk about what they were serving. The activities director was great he even got my mom to join in some of the activies and the [Removed] was her favorite. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale to my family and friends.

This place is awful. Do you notice how they won't show you the reviews unless you sign up? You might as well dump your loved one in the street as to go here. The nurses lie to the doctors and the families. They make up ways to dump your loved one if your loved one actually requires them to get up off their [Removed]and do their job. They don't care about you or your loved one, they just want to drug them so they can take your money and sit around and gossip. This place is a disgrace on America and on the human race.
