Atria San Juan

The environment at Atria San Juan is very warm and welcoming and the residents are all friendly. The staff is excellent with communication with the family! The move-in process was so easy. They even brought out a cart for us to use. The meals are quite delicious; my husband and I eat there regularly. We highly recommend this facility! We are thrilled with our choice for our mom.

What our family likes the most about the Atria San Juan community is the staff. The staff team there has been great with my Mom and just seeing how well she's doing is a testament to the facility and care she's getting

From touring to move in to fill time resident, Atria has been a pleasure. The staff are very kind and helpful, the food is very good, the apartment is nicely appointed, there are a lot of activities to participate in and the residents are very friendly. My loved one is happy here

I would give them all a 5. I was very happy with the place. Unfortunately we were only there for a month, but it was a wonderful experience. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable. They are remodeling and it is beautiful, they are making many upgrades to the building. It is comfortable and warm. I would recommend Atria San Juan to anyone who is looking.

Atria seemed to have more activities than the other two places I considered. As for value I have little to compare it to but it seemed reasonable or I wouldn't have done it.

They're good at pretending, they are a good place & taking your money. They can improve in every area. Atria was awful. They over sell & under deliver. The staff is barely trained & have zero compassion. They had the gall to tell my loved one that they"wasn't the only one who needed help" & made them feel bad to ask. They left dishes in the sink & trash cans overflowing to the floor. I was the one who cleaned for my loved one at [price removed] a month. The air conditioner unit broke & flooded the carpet in their apartment & soaked the recycling chair, electric blanket and socks. They left my loved one in wet socks & threw the wet blanket in a bag & left. I had to go take care of my loved one (at 10p after working all day) because they called me in tears telling me they said, to not bother them. They left my [age removed] loved one in a wet chair & soaked socks which could have caused infection on their feet had I not been there. They didn't bother to put any towels to dry the carpet or use a machine the next day to remove the water.

We picked this community, because we liked the facility, and the staff was friendly. They could improve on the food a little bit, offer a varied menu and more food options.

The Atria San Juan is a wonderful place for loved one to live. There is a beautiful flower arrangement as you enter the building and the lobby, halls and elevator are always festively decorated for the season. The desk staff is welcoming and helpful even when you arrive after hours. Residents are friendly and helpful to new comers. There are daily activities for those that want to participate. The dining room staff does a great job and the menu is varied. Mom has enjoyed using the provided transportation to visit her doctor. Professional physical and occupational therapy are offered on-site. The staff get to know your loved one and their preferences. They truly care about your parent.

It’s really simple. The front line workers, the entire working staff, the caregivers, med techs, food service, food servers, house keepers, custodial/engineering guys…..the in-house, face to face lovely people with our loved ones…. They are the people that make the difference between happy and sad, content and discontent, well-being and not so well-being. The relationships developed on the day to day are precious and EVERYTHING! Thank you one and all for being excellent at your jobs, for your innate skill, love and care for our loved ones. You deserve the world and high praise and giant paychecks. Our family honors what you do for our dad every single day. Thank you! After refusing to leave her home, we finally convinced her to move to Assisted Living! Grandma loves her apartment. She is always early to the dining room. Excited to sit with her new friends to eat. To think of how much she fought us on this! She has a purpose again. We are so excited for her. I would definitely recommend this place for your loved one.

My Dad moved into Atria San Juan. The past year he has declined dramatically. Basically not doing anything at home. We moved him into a Studio. His life is back. He is out everyday. Sitting outside watching the golfers next door. Always sitting with other residents. Eating good meals. He lives the staff and he is happy.

We chose the Memory Care at Atria San Juan for my Mother-in-Law. We toured 4 places focusing on South OC. We live in Dana Point and wanted to have her close by. We like the activities they have daily. Every time we visit we always see staff engaged with residents. When we pick her up she is always dressed nice. She is doing well. The biggest thing for us is that she is in a beautiful safe environment. We kept her home as much as we could. But the fear of her wondering off one day; we knew we had to do something.
