Cape Cod Senior Residences is a unique 100% affordable community offering the best value in senior housing on Cape Cod! It is open to individuals 65 years or older whose incomes are at or below 60 percent of the area median income.
The creation of Cape Cod Senior Residences was spearheaded by the Barnstable County Commission which designated the site of the former Barnstable County Hospital on County Road in Pocasset for development. Sharing the vision of the County Commissioners, the local nonprofit Housing Assistance Corporation and developer Realty Resources Resources Chartered formed a public-private partnership to build this affordable housing and healthcare option for Cape Cod seniors.
As one of our resident's daughter puts it, ' I finally acknowledged that Mom wasn't really living 'independently' at home- she was just living alone. When she moved, I was so relieved. I no longer have to worry about whether she is taking her medications or eating healthy meals.
When we visit now we really talk and enjoy each other's company. I'm no longer the 'caretaker' - I'm a daughter again!'
Total monthly costs depend on room type, select services, and the level of care needed.
*Prices quoted are monthly rental charges and are provided by the communities themselves. Actual prices may differ due to one-time fees, timing and care services required. Speak with your Senior Living Advisor to learn more.

All staff at CCSR are truly caring, compassionate and thoughtful. Meals and activities are panned mindfully with the residents’ needs and interests taken into careful consideration. Resident requests for help are quickly honored. The facility and grounds are well maintained and decorated in a classy and cheerful manner. The staff clearly value communication with residents and families. From the time we first toured to this very moment I could not say one negative thing about CCSR. I feel blessed to have found this amazing new hone for my mom.

After thirty days mother is settled in and enjoying her new home. It Has been an adjustment down sizing from a big home to a one bedroom Apartment. She no longer has to worry about maintaining a big House and all its maintenance. She visits with other residents at meal times and can then enjoy as much privacy as she chooses in her own apartment.

A Place for Mom has scored Cape Cod Senior Residences 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
