My mom and I are very happy with Brookdale. I wished that's where she went to start with instead of [community name removed]. We love Brookdale. Overall we are very happy.

Great Place to live my Dad tells me. When I come to visit him, staff is welcoming and friendly. Residents are nice and everyone says hello. Glad I moved my dad here from AZ.

I am so happy. I moved here. I have made lots of friends. I love all of the activities offered. The party dinners are my favorite! I wish I would have moved here sooner.

I was previously a resident at Brookdale Sunwest Independent Living. This facility was not really as portrayed. The food is never hot. The activities were not appealing to me, there is nothing with any intellectual appeal. The landscaping is nice. The people are mostly resigned to their fate. Also, it would be nice if there was some sort of medical help available.

Two bus drivers for tenants seven days week to do personal stuff or dr appts. Day outings for independent living tenants going to different casinos wineries special retaurants Toms farms Palm Springs and more two days a week every month All holidays have festive decorations and our daily meals corresponds to that holiday Balconies which adds space to ur unit Convenient nail and hair salon in clubhouse Jacuzzi and swimming pool with classes Outdoor luaus in summer buffet style and bbq So many activities for everything Wine three days a week

Although food preparation is not consistent there is plenty of delicious food. They really need to improve on their vegetable preparation.

The facility is well maintained, through the grounds need some work. The staff says they will do something, but then it doesn't get done, or the person who is supposed to have information doesn't have it. The staff is friendly, but don't really promote activities where the new people get to know the ones who've been there awhile. The meals just have the flavor of mass produced meals, and are sometimes cold or lukewarm.

Foods better than some restaurants. The rent is good for this area. Great excursions and B.D. bus service. Staff is nice. Good place to live and have friends of our age.

Some staff could be friendlier, but we've lived here four years and feel its FAR superior to other facilities we've see or heard about - always recommend.

I moved her almost one year ago, but am having to move again because of a 16% increase in rent. Most residents are living on a fixed income and cannot absorb that increase. Brookdale is preying on the most vulnerable population who have the least amount of resources - their elderly residents! There are also other concerns as well, filthy carpets stained and dirty, windows that have not been washed in over a year. The food provided by brookdale is mediocre at best, and looks as bad as it tastes. It is the same food every week. Once you placed your order it takes about 45 mi utes to an hour for the food to come out which is usually cold. You must also inspect your table ware carefully as it often has dried food on it. You must inspect your food carefully as well. The washers and dryers are often not working and there is standing water on the floor. I cannot recommend living here and urge you to search for other accomadations as I am doing. Find one that actually cares about their residents

They are unbelievably friendly and helpful. The staff, the residents, the visitors are all happy and inviting. We picked this community, because of the price and the friendly staff/residents.

We love it! Everybody is really friendly. The food is good overall, although there are some things I don't like. We have our own villa, and it is beautiful. It's very private, and we have a garage. There are a lot of activities and great things going on. It is a lot of money, but it's worth it. I would definitely recommend Brookdale Sunwest.
