My mom has been living at Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch for almost 6 years! She has been truly Blessed by all the excellent Executive staff, Med Techs, caregivers, housekeeping & maintenance employees over the years! They have such compassion & love for each resident! Everyone works together to make Brookdale truly feel like home! My mom is a social butterfly & so appreciate all the creativity & talent [name removed] puts into the ongoing list of fun activities & outside entertainment she coordinates! We also love all the seasonal & holiday decorations they have to brighten each resident’s spirits! Mom also enjoys going to the dinning room for breakfast, lunch & dinner! They have many items to choose from at each meal! Mom loves going to their on site beauty shop every week to have [name removed] make her beautiful! It truly puts our minds at ease knowing mama is being well taken care of at all times & engaged in so many fun activities! I would highly recommend them to you & your loved one!

Our mother has been an assisted living resident at Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch for six years now and loves the entire staff……from the Executive, Sales and Nursing Directors to the caregivers, social activities coordinator, maintenance and housekeeping staff. They are all highly committed to the mission of providing a high level of quality in every aspect of the community. The facility is clean, functional and well maintained. The social activities coordinator is very passionate about keeping the residents active and involved with arts and crafts projects, holiday themed parties and frequent musical entertainment. These activities are always well received by the residents and provide something for them to look forward to several days each week. The caregivers are highly dedicated and passionate individuals as well. They have always provided the maximum amount of care possible and are very conscientious in carrying out their duties. Brookdale Stonebridge is the place mom calls home.

Since arriving at Brookdale for my first visit and tour, I felt the warmth and care of the staff and management team. I had not been in an assisted care facility prior to that day, and certainly never contemplated this being a home for my mom. At 83 years old, my mom had some very specific needs and I wanted the very best for her as we all relocated to the McKiney area as a family. [name removed] was welcoming, knowledgeable, and limitlessly helpful throughout our journey to place my mom into a great facility. From room selection, to preparation, all was handled flawlessly and my mom has felt so special and appreciated along the way. I feel blessed to have the ability and opportunity to have mom cared for on a daily basis that meets all her needs. All our family members are regular visitors to Brookdale and it has been a great place for mom to be well taken care of and still have a sense of independence. That place was terrible and didn't work with us when we moved out. We were only there 30 days. My loved one fell and went into the hospital and they didn't check in to see how my loved one was doing. So uncaring in so many ways!! They never tried to get to know my loved one. I would tell others not to go here. They have been difficult to get the long term care insurance claim information turned in also...

Very positive. The staff are fantastic and really seek to care about the residents and their families. It was the best fit for my mom. I would recommend to others.

Nice, friendly accommodating, loving to residents, clean. Seem to have staff who love what they do and the people. [name removed]called me immediately and asked for me to come in before I was going out of town because they had a great deal ending the next day. After talking with her and seeing the facility, I decided to go with them. When I moved mothers belongings the Exec. Director came and helped me unload the car.

After a very diificult situation. [name removed] was able to find a place for my mom at the Brookdale located at Stonebridge Ranch. Where they welcomed her and saw her needs for 15 dyas. Loved the staff!!

I toured Brookdale and liked it and the staff. As the caregiver for elderly parents, I was desperate to move them. There were large fees involved, but the rent rates were acceptable. I signed the lease, but as we were getting ready to move, I found there in house medical team that visits weekly did not take my parent’s insurance. And they did not handle insulin shots there. I was going to have to hire someone to go in everyday to administer shots. It was going to be very expensive. We couldn’t afford it , so I had no choice but to pull out. Since I had signed a lease, they still want $[removed] for basically nothing! We never moved or did anything. It’s laughable. My parents are on a budget and can’t afford this ridiculous amount. Be very careful there. They talk a real good game. The people were nice, but in the end, just trying to get more bonuses out of the elderly who are vulnerable anyway.

Very attentive and caring through initial interaction and continues. Small facility which allows personal interaction not received in larger facilities. You know they truly love what they do!

A lot of things are improving or expected to improve. They have had a lot of staff turnover and management turnover. Had significant issues with "agency staff" & poor, inconsistent resident care. From what research I've done, I believe most all facilities will have similar issues when using "Agency staff". There isn't any direct service accountability.

Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch provide an ease while moving him in. It's a hard thing to do with a parent and quite often parents don't want to be "put away". Never once was my dad led to feel that way. It's a small facility and it feels like a home. His words to me after a week or two were, "I love it here. This is where I'm supposed to be". My mom passed few years ago and my dad lived alone in a retirement community. He was okay there, but he was kind of just existing. For the first time since she's been gone, my dad has made new friends. There's a group of gentleman that he's friends with. I went to visit and it was time for dinner, they came to check on him and he had to leave. I thought to myself, how fantastic! That is more than I could have hoped for. At the retirement community he had a few falls, so he had to go to the hospital and moved to Brookdale directly from there. It was a hard thing for him as he left everything, but he said he has not met one person who isn't wonderful here. Brookdale is a great little gem I wouldn't have found if it wasn't for A Place for Mom. It's also right around the corner from where he used to live. I'm obviously a fan. He's been there a while and we have been able to go through different things. They've had a lot of changes in their staff, but the new staff are just as great. They really do a great job.

The community is great, the staff is friendly. I think they struggle on the business side of things. In the beginning it took a long time to figure who to pay, and how much. The amount seemed to change and It seemed to be rough. The room wasn't ready when we got her there. Outside of that everyone has been extremely helpful.

We chose Brookdale Stonebridge Ranch because of the convenience of the location. Overall, it has been a pretty good experience and I would recommend to others looking.
